"Art For Fun"
To continue my collection of Brickheadz Alien, here is Ripley vs the Queen and Face Hugger. Those were "fun" to create particularly the Queen... or was it the Face Hugger & Egg? What's your favourite?
BTW building instructions for these figures are ready in my shop :

This version by the Da Vinci generator has produced a beautiful alien landscape, but the alien spacecraft in the prompt are completely missing...
. . . Almost appearing as alien ships invading the yard, these huge fungi popped up after 2 days of intense rain! Hopefully no little green men with laser beams appear.
Have a great week Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!
late in 2013 i was able to again visit the Moeraki Boulders on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand... the weather was very much bleak and it was what i call a "black and white" day for photography... this means that i usually had to settle for compositions and captures that would end up as black and white conversions later...
that is not all bad and it has allowed me to learn each place more intimately and also to get maximum out of most of my photographic outings...
this image before conversion was ok but not really that engaging... once i worked it a bit in processing the whole mood changed dramatically and it now reminds me of some gestating alien eggs on some foreign planet...

It was a fantastic experience walking on and going into a glacier, this particular Icecave had a lot of volcanic ash in the ice creating the black ice effect. while I was processing the image, i couldn't help thinking of the Alien films
If H.R. Giger or Terry Gilliam had a hand in designing the TTC I would expect to see this.

asked would I like to accompany him to DRI on a exploration of hospitality.
Despite the size of this behemoth hospital, shots are limited to a few locations within. Undeterred we plodded on into the metal plundered , insulation strewn mess and eked out a thoroughly enjoyable day. Eventually finding the 'Security' room with its bank of eye spy monitors and ironically, a metal theft trolley already to go with its metallic cargo, left behind by some presumably interrupted copper fairy. Further in, the equipment rooms complete with surgeons magnifying stereo eye aids, test tubes, microscopes and one of those cameras that they shove up your bum. Unravelling the Nikon was as intriguing as exploring the hospital but unlike the hospital I still feel there are many rooms unseen haha :) M
Another alien , from that other world, :0)

More waterdrops - just plain water with coloured gels on speedlites - amazing what happens during a collision!
This is standalone junk in a field with all of the major pieces contributing to the scene. The object to the right looks like some sort of space alien built structure from a 1950s or 1960s movie.
Hi, I come from the planet Pluto and I need some tennis balls to fuel my spacecraft. Would you please help a little alien in need?
ETA - As always, no, I didn't put the frisbee on his head like this, he does it all by himself, like a big boy - anything for a laugh :)

I really want this upcoming Skullector Monster High release! The Bride of Alien? Xenomorph? Mattel promo pictures.
My vintage childhood Alien figure by Kenner in lower right corner.
It was a relief that Centurion Android Geof and Belle Android Morgan found the Queen's lair. They see two Xenomorph eggs awaiting them down the hallway which leads to the entrance.
"Over here!" yelled Geof
"Only two eggs? This is illogical. Were these Xenomorph eggs purposely placed here at the entrance for us?" questioned an inquisitive Morgan
"That could only be answer. I cannot imagine what else they were placed here for."
As Andoids Geof and Morgan were about to draw their weapons to destroy the eggs which were opening and a young xenomorph sprung out heading towards Morgan, Mama was waiting for them from behind!

An Alien sighting in Winters Elm, Bellisseria. Be on the look out!
It seems to mesmerize its victims with stares of deadly cuteness.
Trona Pinnacles so far has been one of my favorite places to photograph. The rock formations are so unique you can always go back for a revisit to find new subjects and compositions. The day looked fairly cloudy and right before the sun had set I was hopeful that some great colors would come out of the sky. Thankfully during my one day at the pinnacles, we were lucky enough to get these amazing colors.

Alien art
Some animals are active right away after they are born, they don’t need any mom, dad and society to teach them how to act. They have instinctive knowledge. They know what to do in their world. Their already built-in software packages run them. Each of the software is specifically made for a specific animal.
We don't have built-in software like some animals, we create our software, and our bodies have the potential for a change. The advantage of that kind of software is that we can be something very different. It might be possible to turn ourselves into better human beings.
Our society has to head in a different direction. We have to change the current model of human being. We have to aim to be not aggressive and to aim to be healthy (mentally and physically) human beings, instead of human beings just thinking of enjoying life without considering of our main goals.
Some aliens might have so high societies and also might be so beautiful inside and outside (like the one in my picture above) that we even couldn’t be able to imagine about them.
Things exist because of the existence of the variety of scientific and random processes in our universe.
whenever i visit the Moeraki Boulders, they always seem to me like giant alien eggs left behind by a spaceship...
here they are nicely lined up on a beautiful morning over the east coast... i was very pleased with my work on that morning - i finally explored few different compositions and got to feel as one with the boulders... there was no one else there at the same time...
