This sensitive Alien Queen (1992 Kenner) is working nightshift at my toy museum. She is screaming hysterically for camera flash! She hates the light!!

Tip: I love old newspaper articles and it is easy to merge them with your SL photo. Just layer them behind your featured photo. In this case I have added a transparent color layer just to make it visually cohesive. Original article found here: vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/resistancefallofman/images/8/...
Got the big black separator few months back, but totally forgot about it. Since I read Simon's article on New Elementary about the LEGO Art The Sith set, I wanted to build something with it.
I was thinking about Space Jam and what should I build for it and the idea came almost instantly, the shape really gave me the alien vibe and here it is. Not a Space Jam entry though :D
An image captured under the bridge in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Converted this shot to sepia to get that edgy and futuristic look.
Do you really think we are alone in this wide universe? I simply don't think so.
Every now and then we are faced with strange things here or there that make us wonder wether we are the only creatures available in the whole universe. We might even meet some people who behave like aliens. Perhaps they ARE.
I met an alien the other day. He, or she, I really don't know, allowed me to take his or her picture. I was in Al Figrah, an hour away to the west of Madina. The area is 6,237 feet high and I imagine that it is full of aliens like the one in the photo above.
Unfortuately, the alien did not answer me when I asked him or her for a recorded interview. So, sorry nothing here is documented about him, or her. Have you ever met an alien?
I finally got some good photos of my 1979 ALIEN Xenomorph MOC. Big thanks
to my wife (for putting up with 3 years of tinkering on this thing), my
neighbors (who let me borrow their camera, since mine died), everyone who
encouraged me at the many shows I've taken it to (and the 2 trophies!), and
my daughter for constantly saying how cool it is. I'm finally done working
on it for a while, and eager to share the photos. Currently I am editing a
mass of shots from all angles, but wanted to put a few images out into the
ether, in hopes you may find them as you shift eagerly in your theater
seats this evening. Enjoy, there is more to follow.
In the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown, I turn to a different photography subject. Smoke

Although it doesn't look like a fractal, this image was generated by a complex combination of numerous fractal math functions in combination.
It is a bit of a gloomy image because there wasn't any sunset colors this evening, but hey.. it's all part of the art. Have a happy Saturday!
The rock formations in Alien World are amazing. Not that I have been to a lot of places, but I been no where that has so many different rock formations in relatively small area.
I hope to get back to Alien World in the fall if I can get my hiking back up to par. Would love to throw in KOW also. Have a great weekend.
Who is the alien here? Make your judgement and blast them away with a range of powerful weaponry! And no need to ask questions later. Just make sure to prepare a righteous spiel beforehand, and then keep telling it to every soul still alive.
Variation of a text-prompt generation in AI Deep Dream. The text contained the words MAX ERNST, ALIEN and GARDEN.
The option of Text Prompt is a new feature on Deep Dream.
while the first version was with a seed image, on the next, and then this one, I did not add a seed image to the prompt. But it appears as if AI remembered the color scheme from the first.

Shot this model a few months before the release for the Alien Covenant trailer. Kind of looked like it belonged in the last shower scene. Alien Covenant May 19th.
Scene from James Cameron's 1986 movie 'Aliens'.
The marines approach the colony complex in the APC. The atmospheric processor glowers in the distance beyond the storm wall.
APC design by Larry Lars with some mods to the front end by me. www.flickr.com/photos/28192677@N06/3599470850
Reference pictures for the storm wall and lots of interesting Aliens info can be found here: alienseries.wordpress.com/2012/10/18/hadleys-hope/
Tricks used: I only had 5 sections of the storm wall so I used a mirror to extend the wall into the distance and a little bit of photoshop to hide the mirror edges. The atmospheric processor silhouette is made of plates and positioned about 1 metre behind the wall to ensure it's out-of-focus in the shot. I used an iPad displaying a flat field of colour for the background and foreground lighting.
I think this might be a Luna Moth in the making and of course it is walking across an amethyst.
