This is one long entry... Those who are afraid of large bodies of letters should leave now.
I haven't seen Gary for a few days. I'm really worried about him, I mean he is my only friend in this entire place afterall. I've been searching the city for a day now, and I've found this strange little trap door. It's locked pretty tight, but I'm sure I can get it open. I wonder what's down there? I wonder if it has anything that can help me find Gary... I really hope he's okay! There's also been an increase in radio activity. It's in some kinda code... Maybe whoever's been broadcasting stole my laser. I can't believe someone would do that! Is nothing sacred anymore? A man shouldn't have to sleep with a gun under his pillow so he can stop people from stealing his stolen laser!

I've been away from the human for a few days, but I really need to re-negotiate that contract with Hammer. I've grown fond of him, I must admit. He's a willing helper, he's got a shiny coat, and he seems to be brighter than most of the humans my people have picked up. He'd probably love it there, he could get three square meals a day, meet new frogs, and he could exercise daily. I bet I could write a book too. But enough of that. I hope he hasn't wandered too far, he might be hurt by the resistance. Listen to me, worrying about a human like that! I've been in almost constant contact with Hammer about this, I just hope he sees things my way... Someone's banging on the hatch! I wonder who that could be, last I checked the resistance members in this area had been killed off by Hammer's friends! Those guys give me the creeps. Oh no. You've got to be kidding me... At least I took the laser. It should be easier to explain when he's NOT toting a combat laser.

Today's random fact: I took this right around sunrise. There had been a lingering thunderstorm, hence the cloud coverage. It's SOOC with the exception of some vignetting.

For my work as a journalist I was at a great remembrance ceremony for the Second World War that week. Also prime minister Balkenende and prime minister Harper of Canada attended the ceremony in Bergen op Zoom. It was really crowded with a lot of veterans and their children and grandchildren.
I felt really gratefull for those men and women who gave their lives for me. As it weren't for them, I would speak German right now.
I took a lot of pictures for the newspaper. Afterwards the ceremony I walked a little while at the graveyard. I saw a lot of graves of people who were younger than me when they died. Also M. Gariepy, died 30 octobre 1944 aged 30.
Suddenly I'm not afraid of turning thirty anymore...

Elliot: “No. Another… cat.”
Sybil: “Good. I mean, I know Faline better than that. I’ve got some bacteria killing medicine in the bathroom. And don’t worry – you won’t get hooked on that! Your hand may get infected. We may have to get you to the health-care center if it doesn’t look better tomorrow.”
Elliot (stares at her confused): “We?”
Sybil (gives him an amused smirk): “Of course, silly! I’m more than just a cook, photographer and lover. I’m your friend, too. I always will be.” (strokes his hand with both of hers)
Elliot (smiles at her): “I know that… That’s why I love you.”
Sybil (stares at him deep into the eyes): “Did you have a good therapy session? Did you manage to unleash any hidden aggression?” (comes closer to him and accidentally tightens her grip around his hand)
Elliot: “Ouch!”
Sybil: “Oh, sorry! Does it really hurt that much?”
Elliot (eyes glaze at hers as he falls in his thoughts): “More than you can imagine.”

These little squirrels are not afraid at all of people. They were running around a park in Monterey.
If I'm not wrong, they're California ground squirrels. I put my camera on the grass to try to take a picture, and suddenly they were too close to shoot!

a little more descrip cuz i'm bored and have nothing else to do ahahaha.
it was gross today all humid and sunny and then it would randomly pour rain for like ten minutes. it was actually great i loved it haha.
and i thought i'd use this big old trunk that apparently was my mom's. grandpa dropped it off in our garage while they were here for my grad party.
so i took this in our very badly lighted garage.
it turned out alright. i kinda like it. kinda don't.
i took 21 pictures in this shoot. this was the very first one. and the rest turned out like crap. i was kinda ticked. oh well.
work went well. and then while closing i cleaned out the artic rush machine thingy. and stained my hands all different colors from the flavors. ahahaha. the end.
Yesterday I played with photoshop since a long time.
The reason was this photo of my daughter.
She was here with her friend for a short photoshoot for a movieposter of a play they will perform next month.
This shot was a lucky one, and did not make the selection.
But it gave me a nice pic to play with.
But now I don't know which one to choose.
Today, I was at the dentist's office.

It is BatmanDay, everywhere, that is what they say, therefore also in Gravesend, where there are many Batmans.
Arbroath Smokey Batman has not ever met a Troll and is scared. And shy.
"Aiieee !" he says,
The Troll is able to reassure him, using the Vulcan Mind Meld, and so the Arbroath Smokey Batman learns many things that, before, he did not know, some of them quite strange. But he is all the better for it.
In later life he will reflect upon this.
