Happy Halloween everyone!
I have no idea what this is a picture of but it scared the life out of me. This image was found in a box of slides bought at a Halifax car boot sale that seem to have been taken in the 1960s. Reminds me of something from the Wicker Man, although the setting looks a little more Alpine. I took the liberty of tweaking a little but after working on a picture like this, I don't think I'll sleep tonight....
Afraid I have not had as much to do with waders as other birds and can be a bit dodgy with IDs. Took this at Chanonry Point on the Moray Firth, Scotland.
Front view in the comments ;o))
I liked this ad on a pub window in Gamla Stan. It's a campaign from UK brewery Wychwood for their Hobgoblin beer.
Inspired by the 'We're Not Afraid' web site this is my upstairs window. I am not sure what the neighbours think though.
He he - my husband is cutting back the ivy now!
1. I am afraid of almost everyone.
2. I hate children.
3. I REALLY LOVE DOGS. AND I DON'T LIKE PEOPLE THAT DON'T.
4. I don't take pictures of myself, and I don't like my picture to be taken.
5. I don't actually plan on doing something that I love as my future occupation.
6. I never take off my socks. AHAHAHA. Unless you have known me for, like, 6+ years, you have never seen my feet AHAHAHAHAHAAA LMFAO.
7. My mom has an ice cream truck, and a caricature of me, my brother, and my sister is on the side of it. Most of you probably know this.
8. I am really really really obsessed with Will Ferrell...
9. I am completely petrified of deer and geese.
10. I don't really like hanging out with people alone, just one-on-one. I like to be in a group of three or more. I wouldn't mind if we just sat in silence for a long time.

Lyrics from The Avalanches song 'Frontier Psychiatrist'
I'm not afraid of spiders. I used to be, but my mom is terrified of them, so I had to remove several of them from her presence over the years. I now quite like them. I always try to relocate them when removing them from my apartment. This little guy was pretty brave until the last minute.
My first proper shoot in a while and I had a blast. Chris was a great model and we got some really good shots.
Sad day - and I fear the worst is yet to come.
I will spare you (and my blood pressure) a rant and console myself with alcohol and chocolate.
FYI - this isn't a real person but a part of Ron Mueck's "Wild Man" sculpture. Currently on display here www.voorlinden.nl/exhibition/ron-mueck/?lang=en
"How do we now come to be
Afraid of sunlight
.............
Friendly fire in hostile waters
Keep the faith
Don't lose your head"
I’m scared for myself
And I’m scared for my lover
I’m scared for the things
People do to each other
I’m scared for the land
And I’m scared for the trees
I’m scared of pollution
And scared of disease
I’m scared for the future
There’s not enough time
There’s far too much murder
And raping and crime
And I’m scared of the drugs
Stealing youth from the young
I’m scared that society
Won’t last very long
We talk about peace
Always full of intentions
Preparing for war
With our latest inventions
Bad politicians
Are standing so tall
Seeing no value
In our lives at all
And if we turn away
From this chilling dream,
The child inside all of us
Too taut to scream.
