So, this is it. I'm starting a 365. I decided to start on April 1 because... I like April? There's really no good reason, I just have been wanting to do a 365 and this seemed like a good day to start.

long story short, i totally forgot that my 365 started today until about 10pm and i freaked out so this is what i came up with.

When I first met Marcel, he was imprisoned in a pediatric hospital in rural Romania, abandoned by his mother. The abandonment rate in this county of Romania is 6 percent. Marcel was not identified in the hospital, he had no name. Some of the nurses had started calling him Marcel. There were so many children there side by side, all abandoned. Marcel had no legal papers, he did not even exist on record. Who was Marcel? Did no one even care? How could this even be possible? We started making arrangements for him to get legal papers so we could care for him properly.

Marcel had never been touched except to have his diaper changed, and this didn't happen often. He was not held when he was fed. He had never seen a toy and was terrified by human touch, the very thing he needed. He could not pull himself up even though he was over 2 years old, and his feet had never touched the floor. He spent his days banging his head on the lead painted crib bars. Then they moved him to what we considered a steel cage. There was no other way he could comfort himself except rocking and banging his head, for his cries were silent tears, there was no one to run to him to console him. No one to love him. The only human contact he would allow without becoming completely terrified was a hand outstreched through the crib bars. Marcel had never smiled.

We rescued Marcel from this baby prison and took him to the emergency shelter where this photo was taken. There we began his rehabilitation. This summer I was able to take Marcel for a walk in the grass for the first time in his life. He held my hand and giggled and belly laughed.

Marcel may never fully recover psychologically or physically, and I blame the Romanian government for their lack of concern for the children of their very future. Marcel could have been a normal child. Marcel will never reach his full potential as he is still held captive as a ward of the state. I pray that they somehow understand the damage they are inflicting upon these children and that they open their eyes into this century and stop these human rights violations!

Let Marcel teach you to open your heart, hands and eyes and let Marcel's tragic story teach you to take your children into your arms, and never want to let go. Always cherish them. Always touch them, hug them. Always love.

Silicon Valley thinks it invented creative failure. But it was actually alive and well in East Coast tech companies when the valley was still great orchards of apricots and cherries. Or just how scared some superstitious people really are in the inside.

I've written songs in the dark

I've felt inspired in the dark

I hide myself in the dark

Used to be afraid of the dark

Those in the light know we die in the dark

There's only artificial light

My flaws hide well here

I used to be afraid of cluttered noises

Now I'm afraid of silence

Fill this space Idle words

I'm scared to death of light and silence

Jesus heal me inside this

Raise me up to live again

Like you did, like you did

Now I am mute despite myself

All of them are gone

The silence overtakes me

The idle words forsake me and I am left to face me

I'm held accountable

For every idle word

Curse the idle words

I'm scared to death of light and silence

Jesus heal me inside this

Raise me up to live again

Like you did, like you did

Glory shows up

Exposes us

I'm naked here

Forsaken here, by the dark, by the dark

Damn the dark

I'm scared to death of light and silence

Jesus heal me inside this

Raise me up to live again

Like you did

Like you did

18 exceeded, I get closer and closer to the end of the school, and all 'beginning of a "career" work ...

now I wonder: will I be able to give happiness to my future family as they did with me, or I fail miserably?

Only time will tell and true ... but the fear there ... (Automatic translator)

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be. ~ Anne Frank
