Faded Memories
As the time of life ,
sits upon my age;
the memories of hope
soon begin to fade.
The resurrection of thoughts
clouded by the grey mists of non remembrance;
leaves the soul without company,
to which none can compete.
The heartfelt pangs of thoughts - lost,
hoping to recover,
only can be found;
as solitude invades the mind.
This emptiness cannot be recovered,
by mans selfish wanders of intrusions;
but only by his unselfish desires,
can he find true solutions.
These faded memories come back
at the most in opportune times,
as that's the true mystery of
mans passion for love in his mind.

Photos scattered on the sand.
Torn in half by bitter hands.
Faded memories ride seething waves.
Ugly heart will not behave.
Love poems ripped to shreds.
Litter the grass like bits of bread.
Faded memories ride the wind.
Ugly heart will never mend.
Golden wedding bands
Mangled by hammer and hand.
Faded memories, tangled and bare.
Ugly heart tormented by love's cruel glare.

Have you ever been afraid that with time, you might forget what the ones you love look like? How much time must pass before our memories start to fade? Over time, does our memories play tricks on us?
This Idea came to me because of circumstances and events that have happened in my life. I do not get to spend as much time with my children now days as I would like too. I have to say that this photo I actually took a lot of time with and freaked me out a little as I was doing it, but when you have an Idea running around, you need to see where it takes you sometimes.
Fear is something you will face one time or another, but don't run away. How can one experience true emotion without the fear of it?

Cheri Huber:
Every time we choose safety, we reinforce fear.
