Found her in the Jurong Bird Park, Singapore, frightened to death on seeing the little birds there....And yes, I took the opportunity to take a snap :P
My baby girl had her open day in High School today, she was rather nervious going in but soon found it wasn't as scary as she though it would be. She loved the school especially the Science classroom the humour appealed to her, on the wall was a poster made by the teacher saying
'I have my ION you'
Ceilidh was almost doubled over laughing :) I love my beautiful, big, little, geeky, cool, kid :)
These two cracked me up ... once I figured out who they were cosplaying and what they were up to. Cosplays from the TV show Naked & Afraid. Kudos to both of the cosplayers for creativity and commitment to a skit.

Im afraid Benjamin Guggenheim did not survive. Here's information from Wikipeadia:
As Aubart and Sägesser reluctantly entered Lifeboat No. 9, Guggenheim spoke to the maid in German, saying, "We will soon see each other again! It's just a repair. Tomorrow the Titanic will go on again." Realizing that the situation was much more serious than he had implied, as well as realizing he was not going to be rescued, he then returned to his cabin with Giglio and the two men changed into evening wear. The two were seen heading into the Grand staircase closing the door behind them. He was heard to remark, "We've dressed up in our best and are prepared to go down like gentlemen." He also gave a survivor a message saying, "Tell my wife, if it should happen that my secretary and I both go down, tell her I played the game out straight to the end. No woman shall be left aboard this ship because Ben Guggenheim was a coward." Guggenheim and his valet were last seen seated in deck chairs in the Staircase sipping brandy and smoking cigars. Both men went down with the ship. Their bodies, if recovered, were never identified. Guggenheim's chauffeur, René Pernot, was also lost in the disaster.
For my work as a journalist I was at a great remembrance ceremony for the Second World War that week. Also prime minister Balkenende and prime minister Harper of Canada attended the ceremony in Bergen op Zoom. It was really crowded with a lot of veterans and their children and grandchildren.
I felt really gratefull for those men and women who gave their lives for me. As it weren't for them, I would speak German right now.
I took a lot of pictures for the newspaper. Afterwards the ceremony I walked a little while at the graveyard. I saw a lot of graves of people who were younger than me when they died. Also M. Gariepy, died 30 octobre 1944 aged 30.
Suddenly I'm not afraid of turning thirty anymore...

These little squirrels are not afraid at all of people. They were running around a park in Monterey.
If I'm not wrong, they're California ground squirrels. I put my camera on the grass to try to take a picture, and suddenly they were too close to shoot!

a little more descrip cuz i'm bored and have nothing else to do ahahaha.
it was gross today all humid and sunny and then it would randomly pour rain for like ten minutes. it was actually great i loved it haha.
and i thought i'd use this big old trunk that apparently was my mom's. grandpa dropped it off in our garage while they were here for my grad party.
so i took this in our very badly lighted garage.
it turned out alright. i kinda like it. kinda don't.
i took 21 pictures in this shoot. this was the very first one. and the rest turned out like crap. i was kinda ticked. oh well.
work went well. and then while closing i cleaned out the artic rush machine thingy. and stained my hands all different colors from the flavors. ahahaha. the end.
Yesterday I played with photoshop since a long time.
The reason was this photo of my daughter.
She was here with her friend for a short photoshoot for a movieposter of a play they will perform next month.
This shot was a lucky one, and did not make the selection.
But it gave me a nice pic to play with.
But now I don't know which one to choose.

wearing tulle, and a Miss Somewhere sash, waving like the
queen.
for this photo i came up with this concept this afternoon. to me it means that this girl is afraid to show her face because she is embarrassed by it. I put the american flag around her head because it represents that we should all be treated equally because in the end we are all americans.

Arbroath Smokey Batman has not ever met a Troll and is scared. And shy.

The Troll is able to reassure him, using the Vulcan Mind Meld, and so the Arbroath Smokey Batman learns many things that, before, he did not know, some of them quite strange. But he is all the better for it.
In later life he will reflect upon this.
