42Kgs of affection with large tongue and plenty fluff (aka Cullin Glitter).
Just idly watching the world go by... as is his way.
Raya and her two months old quarter horse filly Rose.
Sorry, but I had to upload this one, photo-technically it may not be the best one, but the bond between daughter and mother can not be expressed a lot better... ;)))
Wishing you, Dad, the very best birthday ever up there in Heaven! You are always remembered & loved! I miss you so much & wish I could hug you one more time, Buon Compleanno Papa!
I am reposting this photo in remembrance of my dear girl friend Biba.
Tomorrow will be two years that she left us.
We always remember you ... and we always love you.
Forever.
~moment of tenderness between my daughter Dora and our dog Biba... they love each other so very much...
and Biba is so gentle and full of love and confidence... and yet so big and strong and mighty!~

It's easy to anthropomorphise the natural world and even get downright sentimental however there's obviously a feeling of contentment and connection between this female guillemot and her chick. A fundamental part of what keeps it all going.
It's also a fairly decent shot of a bridled guillemot - which I've been after for some time.
Press L or Z - especially to get a good look at the little ones expression.
