This particular individual is a fox that I have photographed several times over the last couple of years. She has a very subtle scar on her nose that makes identifying her relatively easy. It was incredible to see her co-parenting kits with another female, both nursing, both bringing back rabbits and both receiving affection like this from all of the kits. A very interesting social dynamic between the two adult females who are more than capable of raising 4 kits on their own but have decided to share the work load and raise them together.
Black-tailed prairie dogs are very social animals. These two were clearly showing affection for one another, with something akin to kisses and grooming one another. Taken in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. It was the nation's first bison refuge. Our beautiful world being passed on.
Caught a little peck from these mated parents. One had just returned with some food and the other one showing gratitude, affection and love to her mate for providing for her and the young one or maybe more. Have seen them feeding down in the nest.

If you are worthy of its affection, a cat will be your friend but never your slave. As every cat owner knows, nobody owns a cat.

This is the final stage of the birds sharing the nest before the one on the right climbs up the branch and flies off to go hunting for the family. Third in the series.

Cutie was sleeping by herself and Buster was sleeping on top of the chair when he decided to jump down and sleep by his sister. I thought this was so cute and I'm glad I got a picture of them like this.

Un magnifique Geai des chênes (Garrulus glandarius) roi des sous bois.
Plus que tous les autres corvidés, le geai des chênes est un oiseau forestier. Il affectionne particulièrement les forêts claires avec un sous-bois dense. On peut également l’observer en terrain ouvert, mais il ne s'éloigne en aucun cas d'une bonne couverture forestière, bien entendu à cause de ses prédateurs, en particulier les rapaces. Plus rarement on le rencontre dans les parcs et jardins des agglomérations.
