Dieses Verhalten habe ich so noch nicht beobachten können.. diese beiden haben immer wieder ihre Köpfe aneinander gekuschelt..

My apologies to all my Flickr friends for my absence in this period. I'm in therapy for a cancer in the lung and my health isn't the best since some month.
Luckily for now I haven't metastasis in my body, so I place all my hope in the good success of the therapy. But way is still very long.
My special thanks to all the friends that have show me affection and nearness in this difficult moment. God bless you all.

I'm here to offer brotherly affection. Wouldn't you agree that we all need that sweet sort of protection? It is as refreshing as the morning dew. Subtle and cleansing like a light rainfall too. And, yes indeed my friend, I am talking to you. But somehow, I think that you already knew that too! Have a very pleasant day everyone. :)
There wasn't much sibling rivalry going the day we visited the mountain goats! I think two were siblings and one was playing with them.
The mirror was from Villa Petraia, one of the Medici Villa's that are now Unesco Site. It's very near to Florence and really worth a visit, only just for enter in this beautiful internal courtyard.
Also the many many rooms (I miss the count) are incredible! Double if you think, that you can visit it with a free guided tour (that start every 30 min. ;)!).

This picture was taken right after they got out, and went completely 'crazy in the snow'. Filippa and Fernando, 2 great Oldenburg horses.
Geai des chênes (Garrulus glandarius), Neuchâtel, Suisse.
Roi des sous-bois. Plus que tous les autres corvidés, le geai des chênes est un oiseau forestier. Il affectionne particulièrement les forêts claires avec un sous-bois dense. On peut également l’observer en terrain ouvert, mais il ne s'éloigne en aucun cas d'une bonne couverture forestière, bien entendu à cause de ses prédateurs, en particulier les rapaces. Le Geai des chênes est omnivore, mais essentiellement végétarien. Il aime les graines les baies et fruits, surtout les glands les noisettes et les faînes. Parfois il se nourrit aussi de céréales (maïs), des fruits des vergers comme les cerises. Il mange également des insectes et autres invertébrés et plus rarement des œufs et oisillons. Il cache des réserves entre les racines, dans les feuilles ou dans le sol. Il récupère la plus grande partie de la nourriture enfouie en hiver et au printemps, même s’il le faut sous une couche de neige.
