This picture was taken right after they got out, and went completely 'crazy in the snow'. Filippa and Fernando, 2 great Oldenburg horses.
There wasn't much sibling rivalry going the day we visited the mountain goats! I think two were siblings and one was playing with them.

The leaves' characteristic sharp prickles appear to be emerging on a couple of these leaves. But one of the leaves in particular caught my eye, seemingly sending a message of love?! :-)

Le Moro-sphinx possède une très longue trompe pour butiner les fleurs, souvent violettes, bleues ou blanches, en vol stationnaire à la manière des oiseaux-mouches. Il butine généralement le nectar des fleurs que les autres insectes ne peuvent atteindre. Il affectionne les sauges, les lavandes.
I love to watch animals, learn about their behavior, enjoy their playfulness and cleverness and all their specific ways of living in their different habitats.
These Hyacinth Aras live in a free flight aviary in the Wuppertal Zoo - not as free as they would in their South American habitat ....
