A young couple share a quiet moment together on a stairwell at the Mall of Asia, Pasay, Manila, Philippines.
A very cold late-autumn morning: snow had fallen, prohibiting travel further north, so I diverted to Loch Rannoch to wait for the sunrise.
And rise it did: foreground rocks at the Annat Burn outflow were covered in snow, blue-green in the shadows; across the water, the sun rose in a blast of colour from behind Schiehallion.

I was quite touched by the deep affection shown by the pair.
The other day, I watched the old Eddie Murphy video, you know, Buckwheat Sings. Anyhow, I had "Wookin' Pa Nub" stuck in my head and decided to try and find shots that represented love. I walked through Waikiki for an hour and only found a few. This is my favorite.

No eagles found flying this day - but the distant gorge is on Creag na h'Iolaire in the Cairngorms.
An interesting photo to make - I had been standing beside the road, flying the drone around the adjacent ruins, when I spotted the low cloud and soft light in the distance. On closer inspection, one can just about make out the snow-covered slopes of the adjacent a'Chailleach peeking through the cloud.
