Bouquetin des Alpes (Capra ibex), de la réserve du Creux du Van, dans le canton de Neuchâtel, en Suisse.

Le bouquetin est un animal grégaire vivant en harde pouvant regrouper jusqu'à une centaine d'individus, (exceptionnellement plusieurs centaines), bien entendu il y a aussi des solitaires. Ce majestueux animal affectionne particulièrement les pentes herbeuses dans les rochers. Grâce à ses sabots larges et ses soles souples, qui accrochent remarquablement les rochers, il est à l'aise sur les parois abruptes, riches en couloirs, surplombs et vires. Son territoire s'étend sur environ 20 km2. Il se nourrit de graminées, de rameaux de genévriers, de rhododendrons et de trèfle et en période hivernal il lui arrive aussi de manger de la mousse et du lichen. Au printemps il apprécie les pousses tendres, les bourgeons et les chatons. Il recherche également du sel essentiel à son équilibre.

Visiteur assidu à la mangeoire dès la mauvaise saison , il affectionne tout particulièrement les brisures de cacahuètes , de noisettes et de noix , son joli plumage coloré et son chant unique trahissent bien souvent sa présence dans le secteur avant même son arrivée . image prise depuis la tente affût et dans un milieu naturel .

PS : toute demande de partage avec un groupe sera rejetée sur le champ , je ne désire aucune publicité sur mon travail ( j'ai largement passé l'âge de recevoir des Oscars , des Bons Points et autres gamineries de ce genre ....) , merci de votre compréhension .

Barred Owls have personality. The are diurnal, which means we have some light to observe and photograph them. They have great calls. I particularly agree when the pair join in for a lively conversation. I was fortunate to catch this moment when they joined up on the branch and showed some affection for each other.

Waiting for affection

A pair of Silvereyes, winter back yard, New Zealand. Silvereyes (also known as Wax-eye and locally as Tauhou) when paired show great affection for each other, stroking and preening one another's feathers and cuddling together. Silvereyes are slightly smaller than a sparrow.

Le mâle adulte nuptial se reconnaît instantanément à sa tête noire marquée de traits sous-mustaciens blancs de chaque côté du bec. La gorge noire s'élargit en bavette noire qui pointe vers le bas sur la poitrine. Sur la nuque et les côtés du cou, un large demi-collier blanc rejoint les sous-moustaches

Ces oiseaux sont présents dans toute l'Europe. Ils sont très bruyant et solitaires en période de reproduction, mais quand vient l'hiver, ils deviennent silencieux et grégaires. Ils se regroupent alors en dortoirs, dans les roselières.

Habitat principal

Il affectionne tout particulièrement les marais et les berges de rivières ou de fossés avec des roselières et des arbustes, mais aussi les prés salés. En hiver, il se trouve dans des zones plus ouvertes. Pour migrer, il fréquente les dunes littorales.

Il est peu commun en Picardie, mais il est présent toute l'année.

Ce bruant se retrouve souvent sur son territoire de reproduction en compagnie du Phragmite des joncs , des Rousserolles effarvattes et verderolles , du

Tarier des Prés , etc.

Surtout présent en plaine, il affectionne les zones humides, même de très faibles superficies, peu ou prou parsemées

de buissons et d’arbustes (saules très attractifs). Il fréquente ainsi les lisières des roselières et des typhaies, les

jonchaies, les cariçaies, les oseraies (lacs, étangs, bords de rivières à cours lent et canaux), les tourbières, les schorres

maritimes, les anciennes gravières, les fossés humides des bords des routes, et même les pièces d’eau urbaines. Suite

à des modifications comportementales apparues récemment, il niche aussi dans les prairies de fauche à graminées de

type mésophile, plus rarement dans les champs de blé ou de colza, dans de jeunes plantations de conifères et des

landes de bruyère
