It is simply an unforgettable feeling to walk in such a snowy landscape. Thanks to my snowshoes, I could enter so far in search of unspoiled nature. The trees are heavily loaded. If you touch on you will presented with a cargo of powder snow. Important is keep your camera bag closed. The sun can shine the white. I'm here trying to enhance this effect, so I've chosen the view from the shadows. The image should reflect my feeling for the snow, gleaming white and pure.

Another look at the magnificent winter beech trees on the walk up to Lewesdon Hill. These look as if they formed a hedge line to the bridleway which is to the left of these trees.

A strong southwester brought our first blast of winter. The timid of heart shelter in their homes but not the photographers; they layer up and brave the bone chilling cold and gusting icy winds to capture the storm.

We trudge head down, braced against the winds onslaught of tiny ice crystals that sting our exposed cheeks like tiny frozen bullets. Seeking the perfect place to set up and shoot a few quick shots.

Backlit winter branches frame the cupola of Independence Hall as the afternoon sun throws a crisp star across the old red brick. A classic Old City Philadelphia moment inside Independence National Historical Park—historic architecture meeting bright blue sky.
