I like the pure silhouettes of trees and the branches, especially with a bit of snow on top. But we had no snow, so I created some "snow feeling". Hope you feel it too ;-))

Lunch time as Eunice begins to show an impact here. We were promised blizzard and whiteout conditions ... though not severe wind speeds, like Storm Arwen. Looks like it could be so .... no power cuts so far! We are prepared ... but hopeful.

Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!
We had four days of hoar frost and rime frost last week. It was foggy during the day and at night the temps dropped below freezing.
It was a photographers delight!

Around here the trees still have their leaves, they will hold them for at least six weeks yet. In November they are mostly gone and then the snow comes and we freeze up for six months.
I love the four seasons that we have here in central Wisconsin, even winter. Winter drives me into my workroom to tie flies, write, process images, and work on photo books. I still walk two or three miles every day all winter long---the dog helps me get motivated and acclimated.
Fall may be my favorite season though, and it is here!

I live in rural Wisconsin where some of the farmer's have spared a few trees in their fields. The trees always catch your eye no matter what the season! I prefer their boney arms without leaves in the winter.
Each tree has a shape and personality of its own!
