It all came together last night for a fabulous aurora display...included some rare pinks across the bottom (showing kind of orange in the image) and lots of motion. Definitely one worth staying out all night for.

I'm really happy with how some of these images from the other night turned out...this one in particular stood out to me, the reflection of the Big Dipper is amazing, you can even see the double stars (Alcor and Mizar) in the handle.

Part of chasing auroras is dealing with clouds...which seem to just love showing up at an inopportune time as a storm is ongoing or intensifying. At the time this was taken, I was actually dealing with more than the clouds- dawn was fast approaching in the east (to my right); and the clouds were reflecting a LOT of light pollution for some reason.
