Happy Window Wednesday!

old relics of the past in the window for admirers and needy of a hubcap.

Not to sound like a review but.....We had the pleasure of renting this place for vacation last September on the Sunshine Coast and immediately fell in love - it's a quirky, fairytale house at the end of a windy road and up a crooked stone pathway. Built over 4 levels into the cliffside, it's an enchanting little place to stay. It's truly somewhere between a treehouse and rustic hilltop castle inside with impeccable views from each level - especially the rooftop gazebo - and a twisty/winding staircase through the center. We loved it!

even if you're not going to San Francisco. HWW

I am not a person who likes to attend church. With so many Grandkids though it is a very hard thing to avoid.

I do like to shoot inside and outside of them though.

Happy Window Wednesday

...at the Yaquina Head lighthouse, near Newport on the Oregon Coast. Captured for Window Wednesday. HWW everyone!

In the Arts District in Downtown New Orleans, LA. I liked the brick pattern and color, and a touch of color in the trees.

Thank you Jenny for your tip on getting the Metadata to show up again.

Happy Window Wednesday!

Oh, how I love the song by John Lennon.

This is a stained glass window which hangs between a studio and a bedroom. I cleared off the *sill* for the photo, after realizing I had already posted a similar shot years ago!

Oh well, it's still a favorite!

Happy Window Wednesday everyone, a bit belated!

Tulsa's own Leon Russell shot to fame with the Mad Dogs and Enlishman tour back in the 70s. Leon and Joe Cocker toured the world together.

I really like the shapes of the cactus's leaves.

Happy Window Wednesday.

A decorative painted window (about 12 in/30 cm square) hanging on a real window.

Last photo ever from my friend's old apartment. We were in the process of moving her from here to newer digs.

Active assignment: predominant colour.

Was snooping all around yesterday challenging myself to find the 'beauty of everyday'. I had so much fun:) Some hours later this is one of my shots I was happy with.

I guess someone figured there had to be some way out of here, so got the ladder in the window reflected in the window.

Captured in the Russellville Park courtyard for Wall and Window Wednesdays. HWW everyone!

And for Nice Wonderful Tuesday Clouds (It was Tuesday when I took the photo.)

I will be out of town for about five days so won't be online. See you when I get back!

Captured, after dark, from the Russellville Park upper courtyard for Window Wednesday. HWW everyone!

Taken yesterday with another day of SNOW SNOW and more SNOW. We've had 3 days in a row and I have cabin fever really bad. I really need to get out of the house and go somewhere. Shoveling everyday is getting tiring.

Taken at the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall - the ruins of an old building next to the old lifeboat station. I was impressed at the great ventilation offered by this window and also the roof garden to be seen on the right of the shot! HWW!
