This mural on yet another coffee joint in the back locks of Albion in Brisbane kind of reminds me of the Socerer's Apprentice.....or in this case, perhaps the Saucerer's source! If you get my drift!
Upstairs bathroom in a long abandoned farmhouse in northern Illinois...HWW everyone and brush your teeth after every meal! LOL
Ossington Coffee Palace is certainly not a ‘Palace’ anymore but was a faithful Victorian reproduction of a 17thC building. You can read the details if you enlarge the plaque in the top right of the image.
It’s now a restaurant and several apartments.
It sure looks like that building is smiling.
This is the Satellite Motel in Cambridge. Love that rocket ship.
Happy Window Wednesday
There is this constant struggle for survival between nature and man. In this case, the vine lost it’s battle when someone cut it off from it’s roots. Yet, it leaves it’s legacy by creating a gorgeous framework with it’s tenacious tentacles clinging to the brick wall. Happy Window Wednesday.
Not to sound like a review but.....We had the pleasure of renting this place for vacation last September on the Sunshine Coast and immediately fell in love - it's a quirky, fairytale house at the end of a windy road and up a crooked stone pathway. Built over 4 levels into the cliffside, it's an enchanting little place to stay. It's truly somewhere between a treehouse and rustic hilltop castle inside with impeccable views from each level - especially the rooftop gazebo - and a twisty/winding staircase through the center. We loved it!
I am not a person who likes to attend church. With so many Grandkids though it is a very hard thing to avoid.
I do like to shoot inside and outside of them though.
Happy Window Wednesday
...at the Yaquina Head lighthouse, near Newport on the Oregon Coast. Captured for Window Wednesday. HWW everyone!
In the Arts District in Downtown New Orleans, LA. I liked the brick pattern and color, and a touch of color in the trees.
Thank you Jenny for your tip on getting the Metadata to show up again.

Oh, how I love the song by John Lennon.
This is a stained glass window which hangs between a studio and a bedroom. I cleared off the *sill* for the photo, after realizing I had already posted a similar shot years ago!
Oh well, it's still a favorite!
Happy Window Wednesday everyone, a bit belated!
Tulsa's own Leon Russell shot to fame with the Mad Dogs and Enlishman tour back in the 70s. Leon and Joe Cocker toured the world together.
This is an addition on a traditional brick home in my hood ... views of Lake Ivanhoe out the front windows ... I think it has an outdoor kitchen and eating and living area, probably opening to the back yard. Very cool me thinks. Happy Window Wednesdays!

Last photo ever from my friend's old apartment. We were in the process of moving her from here to newer digs.

Active assignment: predominant colour.
Was snooping all around yesterday challenging myself to find the 'beauty of everyday'. I had so much fun:) Some hours later this is one of my shots I was happy with.
