I've spent a wonderful evening with beavers for almost an hour. There were 4 of them, 2 on the land and 2 in the water. For a while I was as close as 2 metres from them. I was sitting on the other side of the tree trunk, they were eating. They came out of the water, and started nibbling on the bark.
It was a detox from the depressing news...

Established in 1988, the A.J.Hackett Bungy at the Kawarau Gorge suspension bridge outside Queenstown was the world's first commercial public bungy jumping spot. I didn't take the jump but was happy to just watch people doing it :-)

- A key to shooting a video (or photo) like this is to manually control the white balance. The white balance here is 10,000 K to bring out yellow/orange tones. The way to catch the rays of the sun is to shoot with a deep depth of field. Most of this video was shot at f/22.

Hi Folks,
Our Teddybear Clan is very keen on cultural events, that’s why we all (the babies excluded) visited the Open Air Theatre in our Wild Garden to watch the ‘Goose Lake Ballet’, which we enjoyed very much as well as the music. SEVEN, the lamb was most interested in the music, too - sheep like music but unfortunately they are not offered music very often. PLOP and TABALUGA were babysitting while we were happy that the ‘Wild Garden Goose Ensemble’ performed this ballet exclusively for us. Here you can admire a scene of this wonderful ballet and the soothing accompanying music. SHE will be very proud of our Teddy family which shows such a great general interest in this cultural event !

The Puffing Billy steam train climbs the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne, along the way passing through beautiful rainforest valleys and fern gullies. Spend a minute or so with me as we pass by Fern trees and Stringybark eucalypts while the train climbs through the beautiful Dandenongs.
