First thing you might of noticed was a fantastic maze that was hand drawn on the beach using a stick and a water bottle as a
measuring tool.
The rest is the "Strand" beach in Morro Bay, ca. on a September evening.

I have again re-edited another of my old movie of Kestrels, I took the movie and photos in Qatar several years ago, I must warn you some may find some of the content a little gruesome, but that's nature, that is cruel to species lower in the food chain.

There was a hot rod show out at the airport today. I heard this car coming so I thought I would catch a video with my new iPhone. I was rather surprised when I found it was a Gremlin. A Gremlin?? Maybe hot rod makers know something I don't (in fact, I'm sure they do), but this was not exactly a classic car. Sorry Gremlin owners.

I was playing around with a GoPro camera this weekend. Watch Jasper's lightning reactions with 2 catches in real-time and then I replay the second catch at 1/2 speed. I kick the ball about 3 feet (1 meter) from him and he just grabs it out of the air. I'm always amazed when he does this. Pretty darn quick for an 11.5 year old boy
I put together a time-lapse compilation of the various bits of footage from the last couple of nights whilst out watching for Perseid meteors, including last nights moon-rise, there's a (very fast) ISS Pass - and a lot of cloud...

On my visit to Mongolia we stayed with nomadic herders who welcomed us with food, drink and a cultural display. five men gave a memorable performance on their two stringed horse head fiddles, while one sang several double throat songs. This video features one such song. The sounds may be unfamiliar, but his performance was stellar.
