Nyctemera baulus est un papillon de nuit de la famille des Erebidae.
On le retrouve dans toute la région indo-pacifique, et notamment ici en Nouvelle-Calédonie.
Il più grande parco della Namibia. Misura quasi 23 mila kmq ed è costituito in gran parte da savana e deserto. L'acqua, nella stagione secca è molto scarsa e si concentra in poche pozze dove gli animali si alternano per abbeverarsi. Vi si trovano specie di ogni genere tranne quelli prevalentemente acquatici come ippopotami e coccodrilli data la conformazione del parco. I nostri game drive sono stati prevalentemente autogestiti, tranne quelli alla ricerca dei felini nei quali siamo stati accompagnati da un ranger.

On Wednesday night July 8th tragedy struck at Slauson and Crenshaw in South L. A. as a biker known as Davo was riding east on Slauson when a car going west on the wrong side of the street attempting to enter the Arco gas station drive way hit Dave head on, as far as I know he passed away before the paramedics could get to him. Any one with more details as to Daves last name and club affiliation and more info is welcome. A candlelight vigil was held after sun down Friday night July 10 2009.

il "Soggiorno" - è stato fantastico ... peccato l'umidità!
Le amiche, alla riunione, che precedeva la partenza,
avevano assicurato che ad aprile, il clima era caldo.
Di giorno il clima era sicuramente caldo ... piacevole vivere
al Village, dove tutto era organizzato fin nei minimi particolari.
Per la cena al chiuso … anche ... non te ne accorgevi, ma ...
per il ballo all'aperto - che ridere ! ... i capelli delle donne,
chi diventava riccia - chi sembrava appena uscita dalla doccia.
Sicuramente una vacanza allegra da ricordare.

How-to:
Shot sequence of raw photos at 2-second intervals using @procamapp on iPhone 6s (laid flat on the ground) with @moment fisheye lens attached. Imported the raw photos to @Lightroom and did batch adjustments there, including using a lens profile to correct some of the fisheye distortion. The most tedious part of this workflow is going through and removing individual frames where people walked too close to the camera (any ideas on how to automate that?). Then, I rendered the frames at 25fps using a free app called Zeitraffer (but several people have told me its not available anymore and its kind of a memory hog, so I’ve been meaning to learn a better way to do this - maybe Adobe Premiere? Trying that is on my to-do list), and then used Quicktime to export at 4k.
This sixth installment starts out with a view of Cave Rock, the big long rock with the tunnel through the middle. Blanca is on a leash while a jogger goes by and then she has some fun in slow motion.
At the end, she drinks water but this is not sea water, of course. It is fresh water from Meyers Creek where it flows into the ocean.
