Hallo, irgendwie habe ich es tatsächlich auf die letzte Plattform unterhalb des Gipfelplateaus geschafft. Das ist für mich und viele andere Endstation. Für die Fitteren geht es noch weiter nach oben und wie man es auf den Bildern und in dem Video sieht ist der restliche Aufstieg noch anstrengender und die Besucherschlange noch gewaltiger. Hier auf dem Plateau befinden sich die Überreste des Löwentors nach dem der Felsen vermutlich benannt wurde. Von dem riesigen Löwenkopf , durch dessen Maul man früher den letzten steilsten Teil des Aufstiegs zur den "Palastgebäuden (heute nur noch Grundmauern zu sehen) begann, sind nur noch zwei mächtige Tatzen übrig.

Well, I somehow managed to reach the final platform just below the summit plateau. For me—and many others—this is the end of the line. Those who are fitter continue further up; as you can see in the photos and video, the remaining ascent is even more strenuous, and the line of visitors is massive. Here on the plateau lie the remains of the Lion Gate, from which the rock formation presumably takes its name. Of the colossal lion's head—through whose mouth one once began the final, steepest stretch of the climb to the palace buildings (of which only the foundations remain today)—only two massive paws are left.

The other evening was sitting on sofa and seen the shot below what I think may be a frenzy of moths so it was the shape of them then turned into the video which looks like caterpillars the shot below was through glass and then opened window to get video.
Very strange maybe Tim or Gary will know.
Also I few years ago 3 trees had to be cut down in this same place we were told it was Gypsy/Spongy moth the whole tree was covered in silk and caterpillars which spread could this be the same thing about to happen the colour looks like Straw moth.
So, every year the bees seem to home in on my sedum and stay there for several days. They sleep under the flowers at night and then climb up on top for the whole day. I counted over 40 of them in one go.

Was a Portuguese singer and actress. Born in Lisbon, official documents give her date of birth as July 23, but Rodrigues always said her birthday was July 1, 1920. She was born in the rua Martim Vaz (Martim Vaz Street), freguesia of Pena, Lisbon. Her father was a trumpet player and cobbler from Fundão who returned there when Amália was just over a year old, leaving her to live in Lisbon with her maternal grandmother in a deeply Catholic environment until she was 14, when her parents returned to the capital and she moved back in with them.
She was known as the "Rainha do Fado" ("Queen of Fado") and was most influential in popularizing the fado worldwide. She was unquestionably the most important figure in the genre’s development[citation needed], by virtue of an innate interpretive talent carefully nurtured throughout a 40-year recording and stage career. Rodrigues' performances and choice of repertoire pushed Fado’s boundaries and helped redefine it and reconfigure it for her and subsequent generations. In effect, Rodrigues wrote the rulebook on what fado could be and on how a female singer—or Fadista—should perform it, to the extent that she remains an unsurpassable model and an unending source of repertoire for all those who came afterwards. Rodrigues also remains the sole truly international star to have ever come out of Portugal[citation needed], with an extensive international career between the 1950s and the 1970s, although in an era where such efforts were not as easily quantified as today. Other well-known international artists such as Madredeus, Dulce Pontes and Mariza have come close, however.

Iguazú Falls or Iguaçu Falls are waterfalls of the Iguazu River on the border of the Argentine province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Paraná. Together, they make up the largest waterfall system in the world. The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu. The Iguazu River rises near the heart of the city of Curitiba. For most of its course, the river flows through Brazil; however, most of the falls are on the Argentine side. Below its confluence with the San Antonio River, the Iguazu River forms the border between Argentina and Brazil.

First of all, sorry about all the background sound. The director and photographer of this video got lazy and made absolutely no attempt at creativity or artistry! Just a rough and ready clip to show the folding mechanism of my latest little portable travel scooter. I had just returned from a short jaunt along one of our many bike tracks and thought I would do a quick video before putting the trike into the car. The background noise is a council ride on lawnmower keeping the bike track clear and tidy. The trike folding mechanism is really very quiet!
