Timelapse Clouds Over A Bristlecone Pine Tree. It was super windy on the ridge and the winds blew in a snow flurry as I was packing up.

From 1:05 pm to 2:02pm

About 1012 photos taken every 3 seconds @ 30fps. (I should've uploaded the 48fps vidya)

A little humor. Ororo is claustrophobic so MOC is not a happy place for her. She must be set free of her packaging! 😊

It just looked so sparkly in the sun.

Trying to keep the celebrations going, but I somewhat doubt that the balloons (or in reality) balloon will last that long! It is my husband's wish anyway.

Obviously I am continuing to have fun with experimenting with video creations. What fun to have the possibility of constantly learning. I wish that you all experience as much fun as I do with your creations!

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo💜💜💜

Aberdeen Carolina and Western E9a along with the F9a and F7b. Wonderful sight to see them rolling past the old railroad station in Candor, NC.

After the Second World War, some U-Boat pens were filled up with different materials, like sand. The current exhibition, installed in the "Life" (pen number 14), creates an interesting link with the recent history of the U-Bunker.

Juvenile heron posing for me at Connaught Water in Epping Forest today. A bit windy so the lens was buffeted a bit. Astonishing the way these large birds can perch and maintain balance.

Poor visibility aurora in the moon polluted sky, tumbling fog and a water demon

I saw two bluebirds on the ground fighting, so I quickly moved my camera and tripod across the road to get closer to the action. The video features, which I was trying out that day, came in handy to catch the action.

At first, I thought the tussle was between a paired male and a female having a disagreement. However, after watching the video I saw it was two females, likely having a territorial dispute. A male joins in and a second male does a couple of flybys before the group disengages and flies off. I sure wish I caught more of the mêlée as it was already going on for a few seconds before I even noticed it happening and could get into a spot to record it.

This video is slowed down to 40% of normal and zoomed in a bit to give a front row view. No audio as it would be all distorted due to the speed change.

THE MOST OBLIGING BIRD IN THE COUNTRY.

It's hard to get something different to the thousands of shots taken of this bird, so I tried the video function on the camera for the first time.

The lake has burst its bank and has created a stream.

Some may remember the star trail I posted a couple of weeks ago. The images used in the star trail were used to create this timelapse.

Just 15 seconds of patterns in the chaos.

Could make a good desktop background. Or put it on repeat and hypnotize yourself. :)

Commonly known as moth orchids, is a genus of about seventy species of orchids in the family orchid. Orchids in this genus are monopodial epiphytes or lithophytes with long, coarse roots, short, leafy stems and long-lasting, flat flowers arranged in a flowering stem that often branches near the end. Orchids in this genus are native to India, China, Southeast Asia, New Guinea and Australia with the majority in Indonesia and the Philippines. A few to many, small to large, long-lasting, flat, often fragrant flowers are arranged on erect to hanging racemes or panicles. The sepals and petals are free from and spread widely apart from each other. The lateral sepals are usually larger than the dorsal sepal and the petals much wider than the sepals. The labellum is joined stiffly to the column and has three lobes. The side lobes are erect and more or less parallel to each other and the middle lobe sometimes has a pair of appendages or antennae.
