In a single small train, for narrow gauge railway, there are: engine, battery, manual controls.
The train is equipped with the reliable and powerful Lego 71427 engine, positioned transversely at the bottom and connected to the wheels with worm screws. Traction is on four wheels.
The battery above the engine allows to adequately ballast the train so as to guarantee great traction.
In un unico piccolo treno, per ferrovia a scartamento ridotto, sono presenti: motore, batteria, comandi manuali.
Il treno è dotato dell'affidabile e potente motore Lego 71427, posizionato in basso trasversalmente e collegato alle ruote con viti senza fine. La trazione è su quattro ruote.
La batteria sopra il motore consente di zavorrare adeguatamente il treno così da garantire una grande trazione.
Lössnitzgrundbahn 750mm gauge 2-10-2 tank 99 1747-7 at Friedewald (Kr Dresden) Bad station working the 'school train' duty from Radebeul to Radeburg on 21st April 2008. The station is located just before the highest point of the railway and was named Dippelsdorf until 1940. The grand station building was constructed in 1901, when freight facilities and supporting trackwork were also installed. These freight facilities were withdrawn in May 1963 and the railway infrastructure eventually simplified, leaving a broad open expanse to the station area. The Lössnitzgrundbahn saw its 125th anniversary in September 2009, sadly marred by an accident that occurred close to this station, resulting in 121 passenger injuries.

Metra 167 rests quietly at Ogilvie Transportation Center while awaiting its next departure on November 30, 2024. Exhaust fumes from numerous idling engines accentuate the sunbeams that flood in from above.
Having spent a while topping up on the Midland Mainline, I decided to stop by Bletchley station. I seem to always bump into 66420 (and had seen it here a few months earlier when I visited). Here it is working the 4L99 09:52 Lawley St FLT – Felixstowe North FLT.
TBH, I wasn't really feeling it, felt I'd reached my daily photting limit and so didn't stay long.

Maeklong Railway Market is an unusual market in Thailand, situated on a set of railway tracks where, eight times daily, trains run through without care for stopping, sending vendors and visitors scrambling to get out of its way. Every morning till late in the evening, this market springs to life selling a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, snacks, and clothes and accessories.
It is also known as Talad-Rom-Hoob ( ตลาดร่มหุบ ) or the closed canopy Market. This probably does not make sense, until seeing the action starting at the railway market several minutes before a train is due to pass through.
As soon as the siren signals the arrival of the train, everything stops; shoppers hop off the tracks, and vendors quickly pack their goods and prepare to close and retract their awnings from the train track as the train passes by. This process happens fairly quickly. Once the train is gone, it is business as usual as if nothing happened. For the locals, they are neither excited nor annoyed by this event since the market has been here long before the railway was setup in 1905.
The market is located in the town of Samut Songkhram, about 70 km southwest of Bangkok, the track running between Bangkok (Wong Wien Yai Railway Station) to Samut Songkram (Mea Klong Railway Station).
MTA New York City Transit has brought back the Holiday Nostalgia Train for 2012. The train runs on the M line between 2 Av and Queens Plaza every Sunday from Thanksgiving through New Year's. It's made up of subway cars in service from 1932 until 1977. Ceiling fans, padded seats and incandescent light bulbs were state-of-the-art when these cars were first placed in service.
