This is one of the most popular Snoopy Timex watches. It features an animated dial with Snoopy in a tennis visor holding a tennis racket in one paw and a tennis ball circling the dial as a second hand. There are several different models with this theme.

Timex 1972 24 Hour Military Sprite with famous "Roulette Wheel" dial and luminus hands and markers. Crystal fine after polishing but movement requires service; watch stops after four hours of use.

Timex Bullseye Military Sprite Watch. The numbers on the inner '12-hour' band 'glow in the dark'. Sometimes referred to as the roulette wheel watch.

I got this as a kid circa 1972. It still works after 40 years, but now only runs about 10 hours on a winding, and the lume glow fades very fast. I used this watch more as an adult than as a kid...

From the late eighties through the late nineties this was my 'hiking watch" which I strapped around my hiking staff (I didn't want to take a 'good' watch hiking). It was replaced as my hiking watch in the late nineties by the dreaded cell-phone's clock.

This watch has the number 231702472 on the dial, indicating it is catalog# 23170 using Timex's #24 movement mechanism and was made in 1972. I have also seen pictures and/or references to year codes 71 and 73 on the internet.

My mother sent it to me for Christmas and it's so nice! Automatic winding, power reserve meter, 24hr hand and a date. I love it!

These are the things I nearly always have on my person.
