Talk about last minute gifts! I wasn't planning to make or buy anything this year to give as a gift (in our family, we don't always-always celebrate Christmas gift-giving), but the desire to do some sewing gnawed at me until December 23, when I sat down and actually got to work. Also, thanks to the Early Bird crosshatch print, I've decided that binding is my favourite part of any sewing project.
In total, I made two pairs of Timeless Treasures apple oven mitts, two pairs of Cosmo Cricket: Early Bird mitts, one pair with a Daiwabo bee print that I couldn't photograph 'til it was too dark outside, and the two cushion covers in my photostream. Not too bad, I think!
A flower is timeless... it coming back every single year. I took this one in our garden and played with the colors and tones. I hope you like it.

The time has come once again for us all the reflect on the past year, to think back on all of our accomplishments, our setbacks, and maybe even some failures. I think that knowing what we feel we’ve done right, what we feel didn’t work out and in some instances, why said things didn’t go as planned will help us in the coming year. Go ahead and take a seat under the tree and start thinking. It can only help us to a better 2015.
New Years mark a new beginning. New people to meet, new adventures to have and for me, new photos to create. Wishing you a happy and magical New Year.

Picnic spot behind a roadside diner where we stopped for lunch. Lobsta' rolls were a speciality there.
I gave it a vintage look because it struck me as being a kind of timeless scene. It probably wouldn't have looked much different if we'd pulled up in our Model T at the turn of the last century.

The timeless architecture of the HAKA building in Rotterdam, built by famous architect H.F. Mertens and delivered in 1932 still doesn't look outdated, despite the somehow dreadful looks. End of 2009 it will be reconverted into a shopping mall, with outlet stores, restaurants and other stuff. Let's hope they won't ruin the essence of the building.

This man was sitting near broadway and 12th, I asked him weather i could take a pic of him and his camera. He agreed but the thing was i only had one shot. He told me i only get one shot and He asked me weather i knew how to use my camera? I was kinda pissed as soon as he said it, being me i would walk way since my ego is too big for stuff like that. Somewhere inside me a vocie told me to oblige and i got my 50 mm prime out and i checked out couple of angels for 20 seconds and i got this one shot.
I was real happy with this.He called me over and explained to me why he said one shot. He said always shoot like u have one shot left so u will get the best picture u can. He said he bought the camera in 1959 and he uses it now to take instant pics.
I personally got a good lesson and i didnt get my big head get in the way. :)
