This is a story about one club, in the heart of one market, in the heart of one city.
This is a story about a group of retired men, about dynamics, about backgammon and cards and domino.
This is a story of a timeless game.
At the MahaneYeuda market in Jerusalem, gorups of bored retired men sitting all day long inside of a club. They pay 10 Nis per hour of games. Tea with lemon and black coffee are for free, if you happen to be thirsty.
Between roll of the dice to another, there are stories about the wife, the government, the previous life... It is a kind of a gang. Each and his story, and for 9 hours a day the stories unite.
Each one and his basket, they go around the market, one day it's a fresh red cherry, another day it's a new cooking pot. And at noon, every day, it's the famous Sambusak of Rivka for lunch.
Beneath in the golden afternoon, a captivating young girl next to a riverbank's iron railing in blue jean overalls and enchanting black and red hair exudes confidence and cheerfulness against the backdrop of a timeless ancient jade green bridge.

Timeless Echoes
The Highlights of a Decade Long Musical Journey
Presented By: The Old Joes Choir
30th and 31st of August 2008 at The British School Auditorium
It has been ten years, and The Old Joes Choir has come a long way, evolving musically, and as an entity that continues to enthral its public. A decade of dabbling, experimenting and extending the boundaries and limits of sound and music has stood in good stead, enabling a group of talented and committed individuals hone and perfect something they were already good at.
It was in 1997 that The Old Joes Choir embarked upon their musical journey; a voyage that has augured well and ushered in positive change, along with a loyal audience, fans of choral music, who have stood by them through the last ten years of evolution. Thus, it is only right that The Old Joes Choir pay tribute to their loyal, unwavering fans, and their decade old journey, through a musical celebration of the last ten years.
You are welcomed to witness a unique event, involving diversity in sound and style, in celebration of a ten year old journey, as The Old Joes Choir embarks upon a voyage of rediscovery; an expedition that will strike at the very core of their musical soul. Sit back, relax, and prepare to be enthralled, as they go back to their roots to present you with our Timeless Echoes.
I hope I've made a photo that stops you scrolling and makes you smile. These two radiate warmth, strength and quiet confidence. There’s something timeless about their presence—like they belong to every era that celebrates love. A beautiful moment, shared under spring skies.

The Vasai Fort was established by the Portuguese as the headquarters of their Indian operations in 1534 and centre of their operations until 1739...The Portuguese buildings inside the fort are in ruins, although there are enough standing walls to give a good idea of the floor plans of these structures....was just a timeless beauty for me !
My Lamy pencil. Personally I like how I got the perspective which looks quite strange. As if it wouldn't be standing on the table...
Fácil é sonhar todas as noites.
Difícil é lutar por um sonho.
Eterno, é tudo aquilo que dura uma fração de segundo, mas com tamanha intensidade, que se petrifica, e nenhuma força jamais o resgata.
Timeless Style, Episode 17: The 60s ushered in the Space Age, and fashion strove for an appropriately futuristic look with clean lines, bright colors, and geometric patterns. Antoni--who loves Mid Century Modern as we know--was delighted to design this mini dress for model Erin Grey. It's the simplest of A-line shifts, with nothing to distract from the crisp, bold contrast of red and white with a column of large dots. (Not so large IRL: the smallest is about 2 mm!) Erin sports red plastic dot earrings to match. I myself wore mod outfits as a pre-teen, and dreamed of being a famous model like Twiggy!
[I must add that nothing in my crafting experience was fiddlier than making those dots. I carefully designed them to scale in Photoshop, printed them on paper, and then painted them with nail polish. The cutting and gluing--with unforgiving super glue--was not for the faint of heart!]

A picture almost a year in the year making! It is the Church of Santa Fosca from the beautiful island of Torcello in the Venetian lagoon.
The best place to see any of my pictures is at petehalewood.blogspot.com. The pictures are much bigger and are explained in much greater detail.
Hope you like this one :-) It's a 3 shot HDR blended with a texture of Sandstone that I pictured in the Czech Republic.
This was a triple-four patch exchange we started in 1999 or 2000. It took me over 3 years to finish it. It's huge. I machine-quilted it myself.
Timelessness.
From life to life we travel along the path of complete cognition of love and perfection. The path is perfect and endless, and this is the first notion we have to adopt. We lived and we will live endlessly. The path is, at this level, only a symbol of our stay in material form. What is the use of that if we forget everything, every time we return to the material body? To break away from oblivion and find out: Who are we? Where do we come from? and Where we are going to? This is our path. The path of the whole human race. Within it are the paths of each of us. Conscious and persistent realisation of that path is our specific answer to the three eternal questions.

“In the real early morning
With the sun slowly rising
I was walking out slowly
Wandering free
When out in the distance
Over the valley
I saw an old friend
Waiting for me
Waiting for me
She was a young girl
She was an old soul
As fair as the ocean
Timeless and free”
In The Real Early Morning ~ Jacob Collier
A leatherback turtle nests in the early morning. A true ocean giant, this species is the largest of all the world’s living turtles. The females only come onshore every 2 – 4 years to lay their eggs. Each time they nest they will lay up to 100 eggs, with only 1 in every 1000 hatchlings surviving to adulthood. Decades of conservation efforts have stabilized some nesting populations, but globally their numbers continue to decline. Turtle Beach, Trinidad & Tobago, W.I.

A homage to all the classic melodies that I adore since childhood. It's a little flower that I offer to Paganini, Vivaldi, Liszt and so many others that made me imagine everything from quiet grass fields, to devils waltzing.

I love those scenes in which you can't see that it's 2011, and time seems to stand still.
It is difficult to overlook all the elements that 'compromise' such a timeless atmosphere. In this particular shot, I'm not sure about the fence; when did they start building fences like this?
On the background, there is some kind of modern trailer, but as long as you don't know it, you won't recognize it...

Taken on the treacherous rocks above Great Falls.
This is actually a composite of two photos. Even at f/13 the rock in the background was more than a bit out of focus. I didn't want to take off the B&W filter to AF on the rock, so I manually adjusted the focus back a bit and waited to see the results on the LCD. I nailed it on my second attempt and then combined the two in post so that both the foreground and background are sharp.

"I drift upward into a place of timelessness. I rise gently into the blissful void and greet wisdom from my ancestral forms. Even as I awake, my spirit continues this graceful dance with eternity."
I love to read photo albums. I love looking at the old family pictures, back at the times of when we used to go camping together or when we used to go to Maine by the ocean.
Or the pictures of annual family gatherings, such as Christmas and birthday parties. I always laugh when I find pictures of myself at birthday parties, because I am usually doing something silly or stupid in those photos. The birthday party pictures are the best because they most signify how we have all grown up and changed over the years.
I love seeing the progression of how we always look different in the birthday pictures. It's wonderful to see how we've changed, but yet my sisters and I still somehow remain looking alike. It's amusing, and quite heart-warming.
What I love most about these photo albums is that they never change. They will hold the same pictures and memories that they did ten years ago, and it will yet be the same twenty years from now.
That's the beauty of pictures; they are always timeless.
one of my most favorite building on the southside, perhaps in all fo chicago... the clock tower of the central manufacturing district.

FLOWERS- Timeless Treasures- Light Blue Rick Rack- Pink Decorative Buttons- 3 Pockets- Medium Tote Bag or Purse
This tote is made from a very colorful flowers print by Timeless Treasures. The front and back of the bag are identical. I have added light blue "rick rack" and bright pink buttons to both sides. A magnetic snap is used to close the bag. It is fully lined with 3 pockets inside of the bag.
