It has been ten years, and The Old Joes Choir has come a long way, evolving musically, and as an entity that continues to enthral its public. A decade of dabbling, experimenting and extending the boundaries and limits of sound and music has stood in good stead, enabling a group of talented and committed individuals hone and perfect something they were already good at.
It was in 1997 that The Old Joes Choir embarked upon their musical journey; a voyage that has augured well and ushered in positive change, along with a loyal audience, fans of choral music, who have stood by them through the last ten years of evolution. Thus, it is only right that The Old Joes Choir pay tribute to their loyal, unwavering fans, and their decade old journey, through a musical celebration of the last ten years.
You are welcomed to witness a unique event, involving diversity in sound and style, in celebration of a ten year old journey, as The Old Joes Choir embarks upon a voyage of rediscovery; an expedition that will strike at the very core of their musical soul. In The Real Early Morning ~ Jacob Collier
A leatherback turtle nests in the early morning. A true ocean giant, this species is the largest of all the world’s living turtles. The females only come onshore every 2 – 4 years to lay their eggs. Each time they nest they will lay up to 100 eggs, with only 1 in every 1000 hatchlings surviving to adulthood. Decades of conservation efforts have stabilized some nesting populations, but globally their numbers continue to decline. Turtle Beach, Trinidad & Tobago, W.I.
This photo has been taken a million times by every visitor to Dry Falls, NC - However was made most famous by Dave Allen, an amazing photographer based in western North Carolina. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so here's to you Mr. Allen. :)
This piece is part of my collection based on LOVE. True love is timeless and unconditional. My goal with these hearts is to design each of them with different techniques, colors and shapes.
Sometimes I have the distinct feeling that we are bound by something that is intrinsically impermanent (I know we are, but I mean actually to feel it): this our mortal world where there is much ugliness that stems from what people do to other people. Otherwise I feel we have a sense of beauty in what is out there beyond our mental grasp and comprehension, something timeless and irresistible, to which we aspire and will eventually revert to, once we are released from our fetters.
I hope I've made a photo that stops you scrolling and makes you smile. These two radiate warmth, strength and quiet confidence. There’s something timeless about their presence—like they belong to every era that celebrates love. A beautiful moment, shared under spring skies.

Timeless Style, Episode 17: The 60s ushered in the Space Age, and fashion strove for an appropriately futuristic look with clean lines, bright colors, and geometric patterns. Antoni--who loves Mid Century Modern as we know--was delighted to design this mini dress for model Erin Grey. It's the simplest of A-line shifts, with nothing to distract from the crisp, bold contrast of red and white with a column of large dots. (Not so large IRL: the smallest is about 2 mm!) Erin sports red plastic dot earrings to match. I myself wore mod outfits as a pre-teen, and dreamed of being a famous model like Twiggy!
[I must add that nothing in my crafting experience was fiddlier than making those dots. I carefully designed them to scale in Photoshop, printed them on paper, and then painted them with nail polish. The cutting and gluing--with unforgiving super glue--was not for the faint of heart!]

This was a triple-four patch exchange we started in 1999 or 2000. It took me over 3 years to finish it. It's huge. I machine-quilted it myself.
Timelessness.
From life to life we travel along the path of complete cognition of love and perfection. The path is perfect and endless, and this is the first notion we have to adopt. We lived and we will live endlessly. The path is, at this level, only a symbol of our stay in material form. What is the use of that if we forget everything, every time we return to the material body? To break away from oblivion and find out: Who are we? Where do we come from? and Where we are going to? This is our path. The path of the whole human race. Within it are the paths of each of us. Conscious and persistent realisation of that path is our specific answer to the three eternal questions.
