Timeless Echoes
The Highlights of a Decade Long Musical Journey
Presented By: The Old Joes Choir
30th and 31st of August 2008 at The British School Auditorium
It has been ten years, and The Old Joes Choir has come a long way, evolving musically, and as an entity that continues to enthral its public. A decade of dabbling, experimenting and extending the boundaries and limits of sound and music has stood in good stead, enabling a group of talented and committed individuals hone and perfect something they were already good at.
It was in 1997 that The Old Joes Choir embarked upon their musical journey; a voyage that has augured well and ushered in positive change, along with a loyal audience, fans of choral music, who have stood by them through the last ten years of evolution. Thus, it is only right that The Old Joes Choir pay tribute to their loyal, unwavering fans, and their decade old journey, through a musical celebration of the last ten years.
You are welcomed to witness a unique event, involving diversity in sound and style, in celebration of a ten year old journey, as The Old Joes Choir embarks upon a voyage of rediscovery; an expedition that will strike at the very core of their musical soul. Sit back, relax, and prepare to be enthralled, as they go back to their roots to present you with our Timeless Echoes.

A sweet quote about her beloved dogs. If you can't read upside-down, here it is: "I walk with my dogs which keeps me fit. I talk to my dogs which keeps me sane. I can't think of anything that makes me happier than to cuddle and play and start the day with a warm puppy. In return they give the purest form of friendship, yet ask for so little."
An almost timeless portrait of a shepherd and his flock as they walk through the rain alongside one of wonderful tree lined canals that cut through the landscape near Damme, Belgium.
It’s rare to see a shepherd here. I managed to make this image of him as he strode along to catch up with his flock after a brief chat with us. Besides the thrill of capturing a rare sight, I really like the strong receding perspective emphasised by the rows of trees on both sides of the canal.
Find something that's so old it's almost timeless and make a photograph of it. #ds123
My old pocket watch: in need of a clean lube and adjust. It doesn't run, but could with a minor repair, so I suppose it's almost timeless.

Lauren and I took Wilfred on a walk through the park. I was able to capture a moment of deep intimacy which I feel is very well reflected in this photograph. I feel a sense of timelessness in this picture.. As if I cut a small hole in the endless threads of time, and pulled a tiny string with me as I walked away so I could always come back to the same exact moment, peak through the little hole, and see this; of moment of absolute bliss, a most unlikely friendship, a sense of closeness, understanding and complete nostalgia.

Yes, that is Audrey's personal script for Breakfast at Tiffany's. I was a good girl and didn't touch it.

I saw this one evening outside of a Buddhist temple I used to frequent quite often. The older monk instructing the younger monks in this way seemed so original, and timeless. I realized I was looking at something that hadn't changed in probably a thousand years.
there's a sense of timelessness here, observing the interaction between people and the figures, a continuum ....
as though the figures represent our past, our present and our future

â–º A young girl is drawing a love sign on the beach with a break of morning light in the eastern horizon.
"Timeless Melody" – these are the first few words ringing in my head upon recalling the pleasant sounds of the morning waves sweeping the shore the time I captured it.
This is a scene at Pantai Batu Burok, Kuala Trengganu, 470km to the northeast of Kuala Lumpur. The coastline in the eastern side of the Malaysian Peninsular is known to have beautiful white sandy beaches with its crystal clear water, and Trengganu state is privileged to have the longest and the most beautiful shoreline in the country.
