Picnic spot behind a roadside diner where we stopped for lunch. Lobsta' rolls were a speciality there.
I gave it a vintage look because it struck me as being a kind of timeless scene. It probably wouldn't have looked much different if we'd pulled up in our Model T at the turn of the last century.

You are welcomed to witness a unique event, involving diversity in sound and style, in celebration of a ten year old journey, as The Old Joes Choir embarks upon a voyage of rediscovery; an expedition that will strike at the very core of their musical soul. My favorite spot of the place. I just spent 5-10 minutes shooting long exposure as my friends want to the twin lakes above. Sadly, there's nothing better view on top of this small lake which express beauty and serenity at it's best.

There are 5 photographs in the series, each depicting decay on everyday objects and nature. Every shot is taken from close up with the idea that decay is something that's real and inescapable Each photograph captures this process of decay and preserves that "timeless" moment while undergoing the same process at the same time.
by the way! i'm not going to be able to post the rest of the series up.. i didn't have time to scan them before i mount them on the mattboard. what a shame.

This photo was taken in Central Park after a fresh overnight snowfall. This image won Best in Show at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts 2014 Member's Show.
Timeless Fascination

One of my largest drawings. From a shot taken at a DeLorean meet in 2010 that just BEGGED to be drawn. Two girls fascinated by the DeLorean come Time Machine vehicle. They weren't even born when the movie was released but they are still transported to the wondrous imagination of Zemekis and Spielberg...
This is a story about one club, in the heart of one market, in the heart of one city.
This is a story about a group of retired men, about dynamics, about backgammon and cards and domino.
This is a story of a timeless game.
At the MahaneYeuda market in Jerusalem, gorups of bored retired men sitting all day long inside of a club. They pay 10 Nis per hour of games. Tea with lemon and black coffee are for free, if you happen to be thirsty.
Between roll of the dice to another, there are stories about the wife, the government, the previous life... It is a kind of a gang. Each and his story, and for 9 hours a day the stories unite.
Each one and his basket, they go around the market, one day it's a fresh red cherry, another day it's a new cooking pot. And at noon, every day, it's the famous Sambusak of Rivka for lunch.
