A sweet quote about her beloved dogs. If you can't read upside-down, here it is: "I walk with my dogs which keeps me fit. I talk to my dogs which keeps me sane. I can't think of anything that makes me happier than to cuddle and play and start the day with a warm puppy. In return they give the purest form of friendship, yet ask for so little."

Find something that's so old it's almost timeless and make a photograph of it. #ds123
My old pocket watch: in need of a clean lube and adjust. It doesn't run, but could with a minor repair, so I suppose it's almost timeless.
Lauren and I took Wilfred on a walk through the park. I was able to capture a moment of deep intimacy which I feel is very well reflected in this photograph. I feel a sense of timelessness in this picture.. As if I cut a small hole in the endless threads of time, and pulled a tiny string with me as I walked away so I could always come back to the same exact moment, peak through the little hole, and see this; of moment of absolute bliss, a most unlikely friendship, a sense of closeness, understanding and complete nostalgia.
The library of the Conversationshaus on Norderney, Germany’s first North Sea spa island since 1797.
This grand classical building was constructed between 1836 and 1837 by architect Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves, commissioned by the Kingdom of Hanover under King Ernst August I.
It served as the social heart of the spa town, offering guests a refined space for reading, music, dance, and conversation.
To this day, the library retains its timeless elegance, reflecting an era when knowledge, culture, and seaside recovery were deeply intertwined.
"There`s no time for us
There`s no place for us
What is this thing that builds our dreams
And slips away from us?
(...)
Who wants to live forever?
Who dares to love forever?
Touch my tears with your lips
Touch my word with your fingertips
And we can have forever
And we can love forever
Forever is ours today..."
(Who wants to live forever by Queen)
On the 9th June 2024 Burrell 'A' Class 4040 of 1926 was hard at work rolling the base of the new road for the Helston Steam Railway, Cornwall. Despite the harsh light it was nice to see such an impressive access road being built with steam power. Nice to see a roller looking just right. Perhaps just the blue water pipe a give away?
"To Eliza Doolittle from Henry Higgins," a sweet parting gift from My Fair Lady co-star Rex Harrison.
Yes, that is Audrey's personal script for Breakfast at Tiffany's. I was a good girl and didn't touch it.

Thanks for all your comments, faves and views, I so appreciate them =)
there's a sense of timelessness here, observing the interaction between people and the figures, a continuum ....
as though the figures represent our past, our present and our future

There's a shadow just behind me,
Shrouding every step I take,
Making every promise empty,
Pointing every finger at me.
Waiting like a stalking butler
Who upon the finger rests.
Murder now the path called "must we"
Just before the son has come.
Jesus, won't you fucking whistle
Something but the past and done?
Why can't we not be sober?
I just want to start this over.
Why can't we drink forever.
I just want to start things over.
I am just a worthless liar.
I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you.
Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you.
I will chew it up and leave,
I will work to elevate you
Just enough to bring you down.
Trust me.
Mother Mary won't you whisper
Something but what's past and done.
Trust me.
I want what I want.
This section features quite a lot of Fred Astaire, plus some Maurice Chevalier and Samuel Goldwyn for good measure.
