There's a shadow just behind me,
Shrouding every step I take,
Making every promise empty,
Pointing every finger at me.
Waiting like a stalking butler
Who upon the finger rests.
Murder now the path called "must we"
Just before the son has come.
Jesus, won't you fucking whistle
Something but the past and done?
Why can't we not be sober?
I just want to start this over.
Why can't we drink forever.
I just want to start things over.
I am just a worthless liar.
I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you.
Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you.
I will chew it up and leave,
I will work to elevate you
Just enough to bring you down.
Trust me.
Mother Mary won't you whisper
Something but what's past and done.
Trust me.
I want what I want.
This section features quite a lot of Fred Astaire, plus some Maurice Chevalier and Samuel Goldwyn for good measure.

Paparazzi photo of Audrey and Andrea Dotti. The photographers hounded Audrey despite her wishes to live as "an Italian housewife," but they would often send her prints of their photos if they thought she would like them.

Timeless Echoes
The Highlights of a Decade Long Musical Journey
Presented By: The Old Joes Choir
30th and 31st of August 2008 at The British School Auditorium
It has been ten years, and The Old Joes Choir has come a long way, evolving musically, and as an entity that continues to enthral its public. A decade of dabbling, experimenting and extending the boundaries and limits of sound and music has stood in good stead, enabling a group of talented and committed individuals hone and perfect something they were already good at.
It was in 1997 that The Old Joes Choir embarked upon their musical journey; a voyage that has augured well and ushered in positive change, along with a loyal audience, fans of choral music, who have stood by them through the last ten years of evolution. Thus, it is only right that The Old Joes Choir pay tribute to their loyal, unwavering fans, and their decade old journey, through a musical celebration of the last ten years.
You are welcomed to witness a unique event, involving diversity in sound and style, in celebration of a ten year old journey, as The Old Joes Choir embarks upon a voyage of rediscovery; an expedition that will strike at the very core of their musical soul. Sit back, relax, and prepare to be enthralled, as they go back to their roots to present you with our Timeless Echoes.
I would have loved to be a musician, but unfortunately I'm not. As a substitute, I love--need to listen to music a lot. Out of respect for the music I like to listen through an adequate set of speakers. In 1985 my father gave me a set of Rauna Leira II speakers of which one fell over and broke about 18y later. I recently bought a second hand set of these hard to find speakers again.
These are transmission line speakers made out of concrete, and were designed by the Swedish record company Opus 3. To me they are a fantastic example of classic timeless design: where form and function meet.
I though it was appropriate to shoot these using my Minolta XG-M film camera and 50mm Rokkor f/1.7 lens, using available light only.

A different take on The Watchman from the Watchman Campground at Zion National Park. I decided that I liked the clouds rolling through and thought they were an ideal fit for a shot with the ND110 and an 8x ND filter on top of that. I think the shot is somewhat unique and that's what I like about it most.

This guy was in the timeless rubber diving suit. But he never saw anything of the world other then my old bedroom (cause he had no movement at all in that suit). At least my locked up vintage guys have had their adventures in the past, but this poor guy has nothing. So I dressed him up, to come back to my place and have some cool photoshoots in the near future! :D
This is a story about one club, in the heart of one market, in the heart of one city.
This is a story about a group of retired men, about dynamics, about backgammon and cards and domino.
This is a story of a timeless game.
At the MahaneYeuda market in Jerusalem, gorups of bored retired men sitting all day long inside of a club. They pay 10 Nis per hour of games. Tea with lemon and black coffee are for free, if you happen to be thirsty.
Between roll of the dice to another, there are stories about the wife, the government, the previous life... It is a kind of a gang. Each and his story, and for 9 hours a day the stories unite.
Each one and his basket, they go around the market, one day it's a fresh red cherry, another day it's a new cooking pot. And at noon, every day, it's the famous Sambusak of Rivka for lunch.

A lovely silver case given to Audrey from the crew of Sabrina. It's quite rare for the crew to chip in and treat a star during filming.
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut
by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of
the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the
words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.
