I'm waiting for you to drown in my love.

Open your arms and let me show you what love can be like

It is all tears and it will be 'til the end of your time

Come closer my love

Will you let me tear your heart apart?

Now all hope is gone so drown in this love...

This girl is a photographer's dream!

No hands..no time..timeless.

... a MiddleEarths watch.

A strikingly ghostly aura gleams from the watch face image, as it is slightly transparent and set into a brass base, letting a bit of the brass gleam through..

The bracelet/cuff competes with the clock face for unusual beauty..it is a sun and sea distressed 'swampland' green vintage velvet..the pattern being 'etched out' by exposure to the sun and salt water. It is embellished with vintage brass findings and rich czech premium picasso beads. The photos speak for themselves..a one of a kind timepiece.

Holding hands, interlocking fingers. It's the universal symbol of love, security and protection.

This is a popular shot, recreated by many photographers... But I've yet to see it in the rusty grayscale tones that make it timeless.

Many thanks to the lovely couple I photographed last weekend. :)

I saw this and was immediately reminded of the 1960s', seeing such scenes time and time again, growing up in a small town.

I transferred all my old negative filmstrips from 35 or so years ago to my hard drive recently, Unfortunately I did not take the best care of them. I did my best to fix up a few in Photoshop/Lightroom and thought I might share. Step back to 70's Vancouver.

Elderly couple on stairs of Vancouver Courthouse.

Like many others, I love black and white photoraphy, I've begun to like it more in terms of using it in close up portraits. This is one of the first shots I took of Jelena and right away she provided a pose that created a venue for a classic/faded look.

There are 365 days in a year, 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour, and 60 seconds in a minute. Days go by and years pass. Time never stops - or does it? Could there be such a thing as a timeless moment? A moment when something extraordinary happens, time seems to "stand still" we're never quite the same. The experience is eternally etched on our heart and minds. Moments like these come and go so quickly in life. So fleeting are these experiences that one can only wish to stop the clock and linger for an eternity - or at very least a few more moments. How do we keep these moments alive? Some may document with a photograph or others may write in a diary. An artist will create a painting. Michael Flohr's "Timeless Moment" is just such a moment translated into living color. The old, romantic charm of Market Street in San Francisco sets the scene. Enter a quiet stroll with someone special. Moist from the fog, the street glistens with a magical glow reminiscent of a dream. The stained glass mosaic of color reflecting off the buildings further adds a fantasy-like quality to his recollection. Symbolically, the clock tower stands in the shadow of a street lamp. In the darkness of his memory time has stopped. But in reality, each passing moment breathes another stroke of life into the brush. Specifics of the memory aren't important anymore - for the beauty of the memory has been captured. Flohr has rendered his "Timeless Moment" on canvas and there it will remain. Perhaps what the artist wants to convey is how precious time is and maybe the only thing truly timeless are the timeless moments we hold dear.

Timeless Echoes

The Highlights of a Decade Long Musical Journey

Presented By: The Old Joes Choir

30th and 31st of August 2008 at The British School Auditorium

It has been ten years, and The Old Joes Choir has come a long way, evolving musically, and as an entity that continues to enthral its public. A decade of dabbling, experimenting and extending the boundaries and limits of sound and music has stood in good stead, enabling a group of talented and committed individuals hone and perfect something they were already good at.

It was in 1997 that The Old Joes Choir embarked upon their musical journey; a voyage that has augured well and ushered in positive change, along with a loyal audience, fans of choral music, who have stood by them through the last ten years of evolution. Thus, it is only right that The Old Joes Choir pay tribute to their loyal, unwavering fans, and their decade old journey, through a musical celebration of the last ten years.

You are welcomed to witness a unique event, involving diversity in sound and style, in celebration of a ten year old journey, as The Old Joes Choir embarks upon a voyage of rediscovery; an expedition that will strike at the very core of their musical soul. Sit back, relax, and prepare to be enthralled, as they go back to their roots to present you with our Timeless Echoes.
