LKD 229 pauses in the shadows of Redenhall Church, as it retraces the route of former Eastern Counties stage carriage service 11B between Norwich and Diss.
Despite the photograph being taken on Saturday 25th September 2021, there's little (or no) modern street clutter in view.
This Scania was photographed in Egypt in 1999: I do not know if Ghabbour actually built the bodywork (although I believe that they did build bodywork) or were simply the importers, but, imho, it is a graceful, purposeful design that looks timeless and reminds me of the Duple bodied Dennis "Falcon" Rapide coaches built for Western National in the eightees.
The Timeless grimm;
These walls have seen,
The birth of all new breeds,
The fall of past kings,
Light and darkness,
And the Timeless Grimm.

An almost timeless portrait of a shepherd and his flock as they walk through the rain alongside one of wonderful tree lined canals that cut through the landscape near Damme, Belgium.
It's rare to see a shepherd here. I managed to make this image of him as he strode along to catch up with his flock after a brief chat with us. Besides the thrill of capturing a rare sight, I really like the strong receding perspective emphasised by the rows of trees on both sides of the canal.
From the Island i live on.
The composition is not entirely balanced, leaning a bit more to the right side, but this was the best i could do without getting into that water (even if that would have made a great shot of me soaked in water...).
I'm really starting to use Black & White on almost everything, and falling more and more in love with it. Is that a good thing?
This time my camera chose for me. Not knowing that the aperture of the lens was stuck wide open, I shot two rolls of PRECIOUS velvia 50. Results, although both rolls can be deemed dead, have a certain quality of the unexpected , revealed by an unwanted chance.
Le beau temps n'a pas forcément été au rendez-vous mais cela n'empêche pas d'admirer des paysages à couper le souffle!
These four gentlemen stand on the sawdust covered floor by the bar of the oldest ale house in NYC. This tradition has outlived commoners and presidents alike for many generations, whose pictures and memorabilia have been posted on the saloons walls over time since 1854. I've posted pictures of the sisters so it's only fair to publish the mom and dad. This was a wonderful family to work with as they are so close knit that posing them seemed natural. Taken in the park at the historic Grimsby Pump House.
Where's the love song to set us free
too many people down, everything turning the wrong way round
and I don't know what love will be
but if we stop dreaming now, lord knows we'll never clear the clouds
and you've been so busy lately
that you haven't found the time
to open up your mind
and watch the world spinning gently out of time
Feel the sunshine on your face
It's in a computer now
gone to the future, way out in space
and you've been so busy lately
that you haven't found the time
to open up your mind
and watch the world spinning gently out of time
and you've been so busy lately
that you haven't found the time
to open up your mind
and watch the world spinning gently out of time
Tell me I'm not dreaming
but are we out of time
Here's my entry for the PC contest, thought it felt like, even in the future, timeless PC rocks.
I thought the LAP pose, "something wicked" suits her ;)

Started with a wet into wet watercolor background with twinkling H2Os. Saw the goddess figure develop. Finished off with acrylics and stencils from Stencil Girl.
A Red-bellied woodpecker...
For several years we have fed the local birds by leaving suet out on our balcony. It is a delightful past time that is shared by many and it is a timeless activity.
It is a joy to learn more about the local wildlife as I encounter them in detail. Once I had a picture in hand I was able to identify this bird as a Red-Bellied Woodpecker. I thought it was interesting to learn how extensively this woodpecker's habitat is throughout the United States.
