Leading Lines - the rain was keeping many folks inside the shops or in cafes around Windsor, plus some going round the castle inside so avoiding the rain.

Shot is sadly slightly spoiled by the scaffolding but the Range Rover does improve the shot, plus the person with the umbrella right on the focal point of my leading line.

This road - Castle Hill, has become a timeless image in some respect as no double yellow lines in this area, but you will quickly get moved on if you try to stop here for very long!!

Not had chance to really use my new Lee filters yet for the lack of cloud GGrrrrrr

Same place as before. This time a bit of texture and reflected light captured from the sand ripples! It gives a timeless feel!

Shooting Ferrari F430 - 2014

In a quiet corner of the city, this high-rise stands like a silent guardian over the harbor. Its clean, austere geometry feels like a monument to modernity, holding tales of progress and transformation within its walls. The gray sky drapes the scene like a veil, amplifying the calm and evoking memories of rainy days when the city rests in its own rhythm. The water in the foreground quietly reflects the structure, as if whispering: Here, time flows slower, and the world becomes a still frame.

After some time I return...

Happy Bench Monday! Captured on a warm afternoon across from the Portland Art Museum.

An old Bible in the church at Butterton, Staffordshire. I just thought it looked more timeless in sepia-tone.

This is my favourite tree along the Midland Highway in Tasmania. I've photographed it on many occasions and every time it looks a little bit different: a few more limbs have fallen, a different sky, a bird in flight in the background ...

This shot is from a slightly different angle so you can see a small group of trees to the side - several times when i've taken this tree there has been a bird in flight - if you look closely, you can just see a bird in the branches of the tree to the right. From what i've seen at other times at this location, I think this is a Wedge Tailed Eagle - this must be its nesting location.

I'm sure this old tree has a tale to tell about its survival!

Two fly fishing rods; one from now, and one from then. Both are built of the best known material for exceptional performance in each of their respective eras. For strength, lightness, and performance, the old one is handcrafted from bamboo, and likewise, the new one is manufactured with high-performance graphite. It is an evolution of technology and material for a piece of equipment that, in itself, has not changed for hundreds of years.

Although I've never used the bamboo rod for fishing, my guess is that it would still stack up quite well against the graphite!

Mount Moran at Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton National Park. I think the black and white conversion gives it a timeless appeal....a scene unchanged for several hundred years.

Thanks goodness that Yellowstone Supt. Horace Albright convinced John D. Rockefeller, Jr. to buy all the Jackson Hole valley land in the 1930s before it was ruined by commercial development....

Yosemite has some lovely lakes. Here is a bulb capture taken there ... mainly to smooth out the lake for the muted reflection, the clouds were not moving all that much, so the effect there was limited.

These past few weeks was the Delta Fair, and this was my first time attending the delta fair. All of these years I attended the Mid-South Fair instead of Detla Fair. It's always fun to attend fair mainly for atmosphere that the fair brings, and sometime the performance by famous artists.

The following are the pictures are taken during the fair

so enjoy! and have a great monday!

I gave this image a sepia treatment to try to capture the timelessness of this amazing city...

I just love this horse. So brutal.

Tower Bridge, London.

A 15 second exposure, somehow the London bus is the only vehicle that has not been blurred out on the bridge. Its good to have an iconic red bus in your London shots.
