Our first night stay during the 2015 Adventure. Was in Creede, Colorado. The primary reason that I picked Creede for the overnight stay is what you see here. The white mausoleum in the old mountain cemetery and the old white church. I had run across a photo of the two of them and I knew that I had to see and photograph them. I left the motel at 6:30 AM in the next moring. It was 19 degrees Fahrenheit as I headed up to cemetery to set up and wait for the sun to crest the mountains. Image made with a Pentax K 5.

This magical scene is timeless, it was shot in the afternoon of Xmas day in Varanasi (Benaras).
On the left a well known sadhu form the ghats, I saw in a book that his dreadlocks are two meters long.
Three men are wearing typical clothes from South India, one is taking in picture his friend who has a big snake around his neck.
The owner of that snake wears an orange turban on the right.
Walking along the ghats of river Ganga is one of the most magical thing in the world.

Lake Pangong at 13998 feet above sea level- A great wonder of nature.
Pangong Tso is a brackish lake, about 64 km long & 4-5 km wide and after a small sandy ledge it carries on to Tibet(China) as Nyak Tso, which is a fresh water lake.
Captured in the heart of Bogotá’s historic center in 1989, this portrait of an elderly woman radiates quiet strength and dignity. Seated in a window frame, wrapped in a dark shawl, she gazes directly into the lens with a presence shaped by time, memory, and resilience.
This image was taken on slide film and recently scanned with a Plustek 8300i. Despite the decades that have passed, the atmosphere, textures, and emotional weight of that moment remain vivid — a humble tribute to the timeless human spirit.
