Common Blue on his sleeping place on a hill in the southern Eifel during the sunset. The sun went down in clouds of mist and was therefore not outshone. Using a reflector I brought the light to the dark side of the butterfly.

The New Schleißheim Palace was built 1701-1704 by Enrico Zuccalli for the Elector of Bavaria, Maximilian II Emanuel, who expected to become emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and therefore needed a representative new residence.
Unfortunately Maximilian II Emanuel never became the emperor...

I am posting this because I like how the water ripple caught along the lily, with the light sparkling, however it was a very long ways away, wind moving it and therefore grainy, so my apologies.

The Schwanenburg is the landmark of the city of Cleve in North Rhine-Westphalia near the Dutch border. It was built presumably in the 11th century by the counts and later dukes of Cleve on a spur-like runner of the mountain range from the Lower Rhine and is therefore one of few height castles on the Lower Rhine. Their castle mountain was name-giving for the later originating settlement: From Cleef (for cliff, cliff) became Cleve.
She received the name because of her weather vane in the form of a big swan whose wings were the crest of the ducal coat of arms.
The arrangement was also called "het slot by Cleef", and also if it the name suggests, it concerns with the Schwanenburg not around a castle arrangement, but around one by rebuildings of a castle in the 17th century resulted castle in the style of the baroque.

The North has become a kind of drug for me, if I don’t go there for a long time, then it starts to break me down. Therefore, when it was a long weekend, I didn’t think much, packed my things and went to the mountains. Although I understood that there was nothing special to shoot there in winter, this did not stop me. I had a wonderful weekend, riding a snowmobile, sleeping and sometimes going out to shoot the sunrise. Here is the result of one of these outings.

Bougainvilleas are extra happy in Africa!! The climate conditions there are exactly the same with the Mediterranean climate, therefore they also become huge and they need treaming, in order to remain in shape. Like the one you see here in my photos .
This one here is thriving in the Pablo House's lovely lounge , my little hotel , where I stayed in Johannesburg/Melville — a lovely Johannesburg suburb.
And therefore a bit blurry, but I just loved the clouds mounting up behind the hills, and this colourful village--which I'm pretty sure was Teignmouth--caught between an imminent storm and the tidal flats.
Therefore may all your begginings be full of joyful adventures and happiness!!

The whole plant, outside the inner surface of the flower, is covered with whitish or initially rusted hairs. In March, flowers grow from the bare ground among last year's crumbling dry leaves. The stalk grows at the time of flowering hardly reaches 3–15 cm after flowering until it grows to the development of fertility 13–40 cm in height. The passerine is one of the first, large purple flowers of very conspicuous flowering plants and is therefore often referred to as the messenger of spring, similar to the spring primrose (Primula vernis), which "unlocks the ground". The observer is attracted by a chalice full of golden-yellow stamens, as well as later hairy inflorescences with seeds that are spread by the wind. Purple bell-shaped flowers are always upright at first, later they may be overhanging. Anthers are purple, there are six petals. Typical of passerines is a fused crown of leaves on the stem not far from the flower. The fruit is nažka, transferred to the new place by wind (anemochoria). The leaf blade is two to four times pinnate, divided into leaf segments. It creates a rhizome underground.

The dipper is not easy to find because of its good camouflage, but it is tied to a specific location and can therefore be seen over and over again in the same places.

I made the torso some time ago and wanted to test out having a iron man helmet for him. I really don't think it fits though and therefore lost my interest in completing this figure fully.
We went quite far into the swamps in search of a sunrise shooting location. It was our mistake, along the way we missed a couple of pretty good ones in search of the best one. Therefore, we met the dawn at a rather boring location
When we visited the south-west corner of Dartmoor in October 2020 little did we know that a lockdown would prevent us from returning for many months. We were therefore fortunate that the conditions were virtually perfect with lots of autumn colour, a river that was swollen by recent rain and sunshine to brighten the scene.
This is the River Plym as it tumbles through a series of rapids on the south-west side of Dartmoor before being joined by the River Meavy. It then descends though a valley to the sea at the Plymouth. This is on the National Trust's Goodameavy Estate near Shaugh Prior, and is a few miles to the north of Plymouth. This area was once heavily industrialised with tin and copper mines, and china clay workings, and their remains are all around.

This is another photo from my stroll through the foggy forest around where I live. I took this in a rather dark part of the forest where only conifers tress grows. Therefore, the light almost completely came from the lighter parts of the forest where it got diffused by the mist. This gave the whole scene a wonderful elvish feel.
to use the object as a stepping stone to a realm of meaning completely beyond itself.

This is one of my first experiments with a Diaplan 100mm f/3.5 projector lens.
About Size: the led book lamp has a variable size: its diameter is 1.5 cm in the back part (the part in focus) and 3 cm in the front part. Therefore, including the support, I included almost 7cm of the lamp.
About Image Processing:
I mainly performed these operations:
- I slightly adjusted the exposure, in order to recover the shadows
- I increased the contrast
- I slightly decreased the saturation.

Snow Buntings go through an interesting moult process. They leave the nest in juvenile plumage and then moult into formative plumage. They do not go through any pre-alternate moult. Breeding plumage is attained through feather wear only. After the breeding season, they will go through a prebasic moult the following year. They will then only moult once a year after that. Therefore, with the rust still present on this bird, the juvenal flight feathers retained, white central tail feathers, the incomplete black back, and the yellow bill, this is a first-cycle male in formative plumage. After feather wear occurs, he will be in breeding or alternate plumage, with a black bill, black central tail feathers, a striking black back and no rust feathers present anywhere. We rarely get to see Snow Buntings in Vancouver in this plumage, so it was a real treat to see this brilliant white beauty on the Iona jetty. This bird was found by Alex Dobrzanski on March 25th.

The campanula is originally a mountain plant. It is therefore not surprising that this plant does well between the stones. The flowers are also called bellflowers. They owe this name to the bell shape. The flowers bloom in many different colors, including white, pink, purple and blue. The campanula brightens up the stones completely with its flowers in these beautiful colors and therefore also works well as a filler between stones and pavement.

The Bergische Museumsbahn is a heritage tram museum situated in the German city of Wuppertal. It operates its own tram line south of Wuppertal on original rails with original cars. Wuppertal operates still the "Schwebebahn", a unique overhead railway.
The museum line begins about 50 m east of the Kohlfurth bridge, where the depot may be found with its exhibition of vehicles and a bookshop. A track coming from the bridge is currently out of use. East of the depot the line winds its way south and then swings around in a 180° curve in order to follow the Kaltenbach valley north. The end of the line is currently at Greuel halt, although it has long been planned to work the section beyond that to Möschenborn.
Near Möschenborn halt the old line turns south again in order to reach Cronenberg.
The route has a height difference of about 150 metres, which means that it has an average incline of 5%. The largest part of the route cuts through a wood and is therefore typical of the former overground tramway network. On the other had the route does not really have any town sections. There are seven stops.

There is a horrid native plant that grows abundantly in my garden - called Horsetail or Shavegrass. It is so far impossible to get rid of in my garden, having tried everything in my defensive arsenal. Perhaps it is time to bow to the persistence of this ancient plant which goes back 300 million years to the Devon era. If we were ever to have a nuclear holocaust which I don't even want to contemplate, I'm sure that this plant will survive! It does have herbal uses, but I don't even want to imagine that!! If only it didn't crowd out my wanted plants!!! The spore-bearing stalks are shown in this photo.
