The fountains at the Schleißheim palace.
Schleißheim Palace was built 1701-1704 by Enrico Zuccalli for the Elector of Bavaria, Maximilian II Emanuel, who expected to become emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and therefore needed a representative new residence.
Unfortunately Maximilian II Emanuel never became the emperor...

Jackson Piano Building
Preservation
Expansion of the Coronado Theatre:
A historic Rockford landmark, the Jackson building’s exterior could not be altered. Therefore,
Cullen’s (Architect) first challenge was
to find a way to keep the
building’s two street-facing
walls as well as a portion of
the second floor and roof
intact and structurally sound
while removing other walls
and floors, opening the
building so the two structures
could be joined.

Aglais io, the European peacock,[2][3][4] more commonly known simply as the peacock butterfly, is a colourful butterfly, found in Europe and temperate Asia as far east as Japan. It was formerly classified as the only member of the genus Inachis (the name is derived from Greek mythology, meaning Io, the daughter of Inachus[citation needed]). It should not be confused or classified with the "American peacocks" in the genus Anartia; while belonging to the same family as the European peacock, Nymphalidae, the American peacocks are not close relatives of the Eurasian species. The peacock butterfly is resident in much of its range, often wintering in buildings or trees. It therefore often appears quite early in spring. The peacock butterfly has figured in research in which the role of eyespots as an anti-predator mechanism has been investigated.[5] The peacock is expanding its range][6] and is not known to be threatened.[6]

Norwegians tend to love their boathouses and they have been throwing parties there hence the Viking Age. Even coronation banquets are reported. No wonder that current boathouses therefore have a flat on top.

A shot of the rather charming sixteenth century Dovecote at Athelhampton Hall in Dorset.
Truth to say I had never heard of Athelhampton Hall and had therefore no plans to visit it. We were driving from Dorchester to Tolpuddle to visit the Tolpuddle martyrs museum when we spotted the house through a gate , we pulled in and decided to take a look. Glad we did we only had times see the gardens but they were splendid .
Athelhampton Hall is a Grade I listed 15th-century privately owned country house on 160 acres of parkland. Sir William Martyn had the current Great Hall built in about 1493. A West Wing and Gatehouse and this splendid Dovecote were added in 1550
I have posted a shot of the Hall in the top of the comments

This geyser continues to erupt every 5-10 minutes, and the power of the eruption varies, and the height can reach 40+ ft.
This image was taken at the beginning of the eruption, where the base of the water has that aqua color. At the peak of the eruption, you don't see that color anymore, therefore I chose to use this one instead of the fully erupted one.
This attraction is free, however, if you'd like to eat in the visitor center, I've heard that the price is quite high, therefore, my advise is to skip it. There is a great local, hand-made ice cream place nearby, around 15 minute drive, which we went to. They also have a full restaurant, and the ice cream was out of this world. I had to have 2 of those cones+2 scoops. They made the ice creams from their own cows, which you can actually see them next door, behind the glass windows....awesome. Sorry, forgot what the name of that place, but I think you can find it on Trip Advisor.
Peregrine Falcon - Falco Peregrinus
The peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus), also known as the peregrine, and historically as the duck hawk in North America, is a widespread bird of prey (raptor) in the family Falconidae. A large, crow-sized falcon, it has a blue-grey back, barred white underparts, and a black head. As is typical of bird-eating raptors, peregrine falcons are sexually dimorphic, with females being considerably larger than males. The peregrine is renowned for its speed, reaching over 320 km/h (200 mph) during its characteristic hunting stoop (high-speed dive), making it the fastest member of the animal kingdom. According to a National Geographic TV programme, the highest measured speed of a peregrine falcon is 389 km/h (242 mph).
The peregrine's breeding range includes land regions from the Arctic tundra to the tropics. It can be found nearly everywhere on Earth, except extreme polar regions, very high mountains, and most tropical rainforests; the only major ice-free landmass from which it is entirely absent is New Zealand. This makes it the world's most widespread raptor, and one of the most widely found bird species. In fact, the only land-based bird species found over a larger geographic area is not always naturally occurring, but one widely introduced by humans, the rock pigeon, which in turn now supports many peregrine populations as a prey species. The peregrine is a highly successful example of urban wildlife in much of its range, taking advantage of tall buildings as nest sites and an abundance of prey such as pigeons and ducks. Both the English and scientific names of this species mean "wandering falcon," referring to the migratory habits of many northern populations. Experts recognize 17 to 19 subspecies, which vary in appearance and range; disagreement exists over whether the distinctive Barbary falcon is represented by two subspecies of Falco peregrinus, or is a separate species, F. pelegrinoides. The two species' divergence is relatively recent, during the time of the last ice age, therefore the genetic differential between them (and also the difference in their appearance) is relatively tiny. They are only about 0.6–0.8% genetically differentiated.
While its diet consists almost exclusively of medium-sized birds, the peregrine will occasionally hunt small mammals, small reptiles, or even insects. Reaching sexual maturity at one year, it mates for life and nests in a scrape, normally on cliff edges or, in recent times, on tall human-made structures. The peregrine falcon became an endangered species in many areas because of the widespread use of certain pesticides, especially DDT. Since the ban on DDT from the early 1970s, populations have recovered, supported by large-scale protection of nesting places and releases to the wild.
The peregrine falcon is a well respected falconry bird due to its strong hunting ability, high trainability, versatility, and – in recent years – availability via captive breeding. It is effective on most game bird species, from small to large.

Wood Warbler - Phylloscopus sibilatrix
The wood warbler (Phylloscopus sibilatrix) is a common and widespread leaf warbler which breeds throughout northern and temperate Europe, and just into the extreme west of Asia in the southern Ural Mountains.
This warbler is strongly migratory and the entire population winters in tropical Africa.
It is a summer visitor to the United Kingdom, seen from April until August. It has declined there in recent years. It is now very rare in Ireland, where only one or two pairs are recorded breeding in most years, usually in County Wicklow.
Various factors associated with forest structure, including slope, forest cover, proportion of broad-leaf forest, canopy height and forest edge length, all influenced the occupancy rates of this declining forest species. Conservation measures are therefore required that provide and maintain the wood warblers preferred forest structure. There is also a preference for forest in the non-breeding season, however this habitat is declining in wintering areas such as Ghana. Despite the decline in forest habitats, there has been no change in number of wood warblers as it appears that this species can use degraded habitats, such as well-wooded farms. However, further loss of trees will likely have a negative impact on this species in the future
'De Oversteek' , ook wel 'Stadsbrug' genoemd.
'The Crossing', also called 'City bridge'.
Nijmegen was in need of a second river crossing. The old one called "Waalbrug" (at the time the largest span in Europe) was built in 1936. Since that time, Nijmegen has been pretty grown and the Waalbridge was inadequate for the traffic in and out of the city. Therefore, this new bridge was built and opened november 2013 for all traffic.

Dating from the 12th century,[1] St Cwyfan's Church is dedicated to Saint Kevin, who founded the monastery at Glendalough in County Wicklow, Ireland.[2] The church originally stood at the end of a peninsula between two bays, Porth Cwyfan and Porth China. In later years the sea slowly eroded around the coast in the two bays, therefore the peninsula was cut off, turning Cribinau into a small tidal island. As a consequence, a causeway was built to the island to allow the local population to get to the church
The Schwanenburg is the landmark of the city of Cleve in North Rhine-Westphalia near the Dutch border. It was built presumably in the 11th century by the counts and later dukes of Cleve on a spur-like runner of the mountain range from the Lower Rhine and is therefore one of few height castles on the Lower Rhine. Their castle mountain was name-giving for the later originating settlement: From Cleef (for cliff, cliff) became Cleve.
She received the name because of her weather vane in the form of a big swan whose wings were the crest of the ducal coat of arms.
The arrangement was also called "het slot by Cleef", and also if it the name suggests, it concerns with the Schwanenburg not around a castle arrangement, but around one by rebuildings of a castle in the 17th century resulted castle in the style of the baroque.

💕This picture and songs is dedicated to anyone who is either physically or mentally or even both, but in one way or another fighting a battle we know nothing about. My thoughts and heart 💕 goes out to them.
There is a saying or quote that I always try to live by, it goes as follows.
REMEMBER TO:
Always be kind
For everyone you

Battle you know

A kind word, a friendly smile can mean the world to someone and change more than we think. It costs nothing to be empathetic, friendly, kind or caring. But for the one who receives your kindness and smile, it could mean or make all the difference. Therefore my friends, remember to always be kind. 💕
"Cover Me In Sunshine"
I've been dreaming of friendly faces
I've got so much time to kill
Just imagine people laughing
I know some day we will
And even if it's far away
Get me through another day
Cover me in sunshine
Shower me with good times
Tell me that the world's been spinning since the beginning
And everything will be alright
Cover me in sunshine
From a distance all these mountains
Are just some tiny hills
Wildflowers, they keep living
While they're just standing still
I've been missing yesterday
But what if there's a better place
Cover me in sunshine
Shower me with good times
Tell me that the world's been spinning since the beginning
And everything will be alright
Cover me in sunshine
Shower me with good times
Tell me that the world's been spinning since the beginning
And everything will be alright
Cover me in sunshine
La la la la

Cover me in sunshine
Shower me with good times
Tell me that the world's been spinning since the beginning
And everything will be alright

The whole plant, outside the inner surface of the flower, is covered with whitish or initially rusted hairs. In March, flowers grow from the bare ground among last year's crumbling dry leaves. The stalk grows at the time of flowering hardly reaches 3–15 cm after flowering until it grows to the development of fertility 13–40 cm in height. The passerine is one of the first, large purple flowers of very conspicuous flowering plants and is therefore often referred to as the messenger of spring, similar to the spring primrose (Primula vernis), which "unlocks the ground". The observer is attracted by a chalice full of golden-yellow stamens, as well as later hairy inflorescences with seeds that are spread by the wind. Purple bell-shaped flowers are always upright at first, later they may be overhanging. Anthers are purple, there are six petals. Typical of passerines is a fused crown of leaves on the stem not far from the flower. The fruit is nažka, transferred to the new place by wind (anemochoria). The leaf blade is two to four times pinnate, divided into leaf segments. It creates a rhizome underground.
THANK YOU for stopping by and all your faves, and comments :-)
Fuchsia hybrida is a species of shrub of the family of onagráceas. It is native to America.
***
Princess earring is a hybrid species obtained from South American fuchsia species, mainly Fuchsia corymbiflora Ruiz. & Pav., Fuchsia fulgens Moc. & Ses. and Fuchsia magellanica Lam.
Scientific Name: Fuchsia sp
Family: Onagracee.
In South America alone there are over 200 different species of princess earring, also known as fuchsia, tickle and tear.
Flower symbol of Rio Grande do Sul, is a plant that is a huge international success. It has many varieties, and both petals and sepals can be of different colors and shapes. The most common colors are red, pink, blue, violet and white, with various combinations, without blending. They rise practically all year round and attract hummingbirds as pollinators.
The branch is pending, but there may be variations, with upright and other pending plants. Should be grown preferably under half shade, some species enjoy full sun.
Its propagation occurs through seeds or by cutting the tips of its branches.
Although it has a great variety, there is a common trait among them all: they greatly appreciate the cold. Therefore, they are more common in places with mild climate. Easily found in the highest regions of Rio Grande do Sul, amid the Atlantic Forest.
Propagation can be either by seed or by cuttings. A curiosity about the origin of its scientific name. Fuchsia derives from the surname of the German physician and botanist Leonhart Fuchs, born in Wemding (1501/1566).

The dipper is not easy to find because of its good camouflage, but it is tied to a specific location and can therefore be seen over and over again in the same places.

When we visited the south-west corner of Dartmoor in October 2020 little did we know that a lockdown would prevent us from returning for many months. We were therefore fortunate that the conditions were virtually perfect with lots of autumn colour, a river that was swollen by recent rain and sunshine to brighten the scene.
This is the River Plym as it tumbles through a series of rapids on the south-west side of Dartmoor before being joined by the River Meavy. It then descends though a valley to the sea at the Plymouth. This is on the National Trust's Goodameavy Estate near Shaugh Prior, and is a few miles to the north of Plymouth. This area was once heavily industrialised with tin and copper mines, and china clay workings, and their remains are all around.

The San Jacinto Monument is a 567.31-foot-high (172.92-meter)[2][note 1] column located on the Houston Ship Channel in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, near the city of Houston. The monument is topped with a 220-ton star that commemorates the site of the Battle of San Jacinto, the decisive battle of the Texas Revolution. The monument, constructed between 1936 and 1939 and dedicated on April 21, 1939, is the world's tallest masonry column[4] and is part of the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site.[5] By comparison, the Washington Monument is 554.612 feet (169.046 m) tall, which is the tallest stone monument in the world. The column is an octagonal shaft topped with a 34-foot (10 m) Lone Star – the symbol of Texas. Visitors can take an elevator to the monument's observation deck for a view of Houston and the Battleship Texas.
The San Jacinto Museum of History is located inside the base of the monument and focuses on the history of the Battle of San Jacinto and Texas culture and heritage. The San Jacinto Battlefield, of which the monument is a part, was designated a National Historic Landmark on December 19, 1960, and is therefore also automatically listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[6] It was designated a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1992.[7]
After gaining independence from Spain in the 1820s, Mexico welcomed foreign settlers to sparsely populated Texas, and a large group of Americans led by Stephen F. Austin (1793-1836) settled along the Brazos River. The Americans soon outnumbered the resident Mexicans, and by the 1830s attempts by the Mexican government to regulate these semi-autonomous American communities led to rebellion. In March 1836, in the midst of armed conflict with the Mexican government, Texas declared its independence from Mexico.
On April 21, 1836, during Texas’ war for independence from Mexico, the Texas militia under Sam Houston (1793-1863) launched a surprise attack against the forces of Mexican General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna (1794-1876) at the Battle of San Jacinto, near present-day Houston, Texas. The Mexicans were thoroughly routed, and hundreds were taken prisoner, including Santa Anna. In exchange for his freedom, Santa Anna signed a treaty recognizing Texas’ independence.

Oyomi marsh (親海湿原) is located near the source of the Himekawa river in Hakuba municipality. It is a small marsh surrounded by thick forests at an altitude of 700 m. It is much lower than the Tsugaike marshes; therefore the vegetation is different.
Ko'oniyuri (Lilium leichtlinii) is a species of the lily genus (Lilium), which occurs in Northeast Asia and Russian Far East. It looks similar to Oniyuri (tiger lily, Lilium lancifolium) but is a different species and grows in higher altitude areas than tiger lily, but in lower altitude areas than Kuruma-yuri (Lilium medeoloides).
Several different species in the lily genus that look like Oniyuri are also called tiger lily.

Reddish sand mixed with coarse pebbles in a semicircular bay with blue water - this is what Tsonia Beach is in the north of Lesbos Island. The half-kilometer beach in the village of the same name, although it has a fairly developed infrastructure, is known to few. Therefore, for lovers of peace and tranquility, Tsonia is the most suitable place to relax.
The Botterwerf is the oldest shipyard in the Netherlands that is still in operation. Spakenburg is the only place in the province of Utrecht that used to be on the sea, the Zuiderzee. Just like any other place on the former Zuiderzee, fishing was a major source of life. The fishing vessels have since been turned into a brown fleet. In Spakenburg, the shipyard is still making and repairing the old shipyard's botters for that fleet.
The history of the yard goes back to 1750. The yard consists of four slipways, a red wooden shed (1901), a bone shed (1840) and a forge (1904) on Oude Schans. The yard is a so-called sleigh yard, the ship is supported by a sleigh throughout its length. It is therefore extremely suitable for wooden ships. The wharf played an important role in the development of the Zuiderzee fishery.
Huge white bird with long neck and all-black bill. Immatures dusky gray-brown with pink on bill. Forages in shallow, vegetated wetlands reaching under the water for plants, and walks through corn stubble. Breeds in freshwater marshes and ponds. Winters on any open body of water where food is available. Extremely similar to Tundra Swan, but never shows yellow on bill. Also, note subtle features of face: facial skin is relatively broad where it meets eye, so the eye doesn't stand out, and border between white face and black bill is straight (curved on Tundra). From head-on, the border of the bill and forehead is usually pointed (straight or curved on Tundra). Often in pairs or family groups. Almost went extinct in early 20th century, but population has rebounded and been reintroduced to some areas. (eBird)

These two birds came flying down the river towards us, honking away, before landing on the other side of the road. Trumpeter Swans were re-introduced into Ontario some years ago, and I had become used to seeing them with big yellow wing tags that identified them as such. It was therefore wonderful to see this pair with no tags, meaning that they probably were locally-born birds.
I just had to keep the Killdeer that photo-bombed the swan. It looks so tiny in comparison.

This is another picture for me encompassing everything that is adorable in natures miracles.
One to pluck the heart strings.
Donna Nook now accounts for 1.5% of the world's grey seal population. The work of the wardens and the wildlife trust, is therefore crucial, for the future of these lovely animals.

------------------------------ JESUS ✝️ SAVES-------------------------------
7 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)
