Three dolls offered by a student I had almost twenty years ago. He said I should put one under my pillow and it would bring me good dreams.

7 Days of Shooting – Green in Nature
Most all of us will be enjoying the summer weather or our friends in Australia will be catching a little rain so Mother Nature will be showing off all her lovely greenery. Flowers, weeds, forests, woods and rolling fields, that green will be everywhere!

Today's challenge at Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday is energetic and inspiring. The theme is 'DO' and one of the things I most love doing is running freely, especially in the country!
Two of Kim's textures were applied here... Autumn Burst and Silence.
Thanks for the inspiring post, Kim. Your giveaway is a beautiful gift.
for 7DoS: I was surprised to find this old phone box still has a phone inside. Most of the ones I come across now, have other uses
One resolution my wife wants me to make and not break is having too much coffee! I do like my coffee black and strong and I must confess I tend to have maybe just more than a few! So, I might just make that one of my resolutions for the coming year!!

I've posted this scene before ~ but it is one of my favourite spots on my morning/afternoon or evening walk ♥ The theme this week at the cafe is Red, and I instantly thought of these 2 red chairs just calling passerby's to sit a spell and take in the beauty of the lake.

For Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday--theme: "Words".
I don't ordinarily add text to photos and until today didn't even know how (of course, now I see that it is easy :) ), but I thought I'd try it . . . I don't know who to attribute the quote to, but it is one I have seen/heard and it does resonate with me.
This one flower let his head down, i love these double flowers

This is a photo from last November, but reposted this time with an addition of two pretty textures by Kim Klassen. Her Texture Tuesday Challenge today, May 3rd, is called "Cuppa Cuppa Texture Love" with a tea or coffee cup in the photo combined with any of her textures. I really do like the combination of her two textures, "Cream In My Coffee" and "Soft Shale." They blend well together!

"7 Days of Shooting" "Week #31" "Coffee, Tea or What Else Do We Drink" "Texture Tuesday"
Something different today. While we were going through some old files, we have found this snapshot taken in September 2006 during our day-trip to Slovakia.
Installed in 1997, this quirky bronze statue of a man peeking out from under a manhole cover is certainly one of the most photographed sculptures in Bratislava. Heated discussions have taken place as to what actually the man is up to. Some people say that ÄŒumil is a pervert spending most of his day trying to look up women's skirts as they pass by. Others say he's just a hardworking guy that had just cleaned the sewer and is now watching the world go by from an unusual vantage point.
Textures with thanks to Kim Klassen (Partings, Tea Time and Total Grunge).

The irony here is that I don't own a coffee grinder, because I don't drink coffee. I do, however, LOVE the aroma. In fact, I plan to keep these beans in an open jar, just so I can enjoy them.
