Texture Tuesday's challenge is to create an image inspired by any movie title! FUN idea proposed by one of the members of the group. Kim Klassen's "Golden" texture was added.
And... about those two bright happy suitcases... they're packed with loving fun surprises for my special Stanley and will be starting their journey from California to New Jersey very soon.

Our Daily Challenge ... when the music stops ... I go for a ride with my little mate. Today we went to the river. It was lovely and cool and quiet.
We used to go for long walks on the beach but at almost 16 years old and with bad arthritis, Joe now rides in the basket of my bike.

Today's challenge for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday is to put her latest texture called "Phoebe" to the test. Although my butt is too big to fit in this dainty chair, I sat on it nonetheless... Happy Texture Tuesday!

Residing in a cupboard :-) We do aspire to key areas of Feng shui wisdom, and will make a serious effort to declutter in our new house.

One of the largest damselflies, the Emerald Damselfly has a metallic emerald green color and usually rests with its wings partially open on reeds in pond-side banks.
Mature males have blue eyes and a powder blue color (pruinescence) on the prothorax and on segments 1-2 and 9-10 of the abdomen. The female (as you can see below) is thicker bodied than the male with no blue pruinescence.

for 7DoS: came across this bit of driftwood while walking along the beach today. It may not be the driest bit of wood I found (I have some more shots to use later this week) but I liked the peeling paint and little grains of dry sand for texture
Industrial cargo line where the containers await their next load - I'm not sure exactly what they carry but I do know that the high stack of material on the right hand side is metal for recycling!
Lots of lines and textures were waiting for me!!

for 7DoS: there may not be precisely 39 steps here - let's call it poetic license ;)
After a busy couple of days, I'm not planning to engage my brain too early on Tuesday and as Margaret has already beaten me to two ideas this week, I needed to act

Yes, I know it's not yet springtime. Three more weeks to go still. But the beautiful sunshine makes hope spring eternal. We are having a glorious weekend of perfect spring weather. Finally! That beautiful engagement proposal yesterday makes me want to be Abby's bridesmaid!

I spend a lot of time learning, practising and performing songs in a choir and also in a small group. I'm lucky still to have a decent voice at my age and sincerely hope that I can hang on to it for a long time yet.
The image is the scarves that my choir and group wear at concerts.

Daisy is having a horrible week - she hates workmen being in my home. She's shut in to keep her safe (in case she tries to explore up the chimney or under the floorboards). With her routine upset she doesn't sleep during the day, so is exhausted in the evenings. No blanket on the floor for Daisy (sorry, Lana!) - I took this when she finally relaxed on her little fake sheepskin blanket on my lap.
Happy Caturday!

I went to a supermarket today just to go somewhere air-conditioned! This creamy treat (a single-portion caramel mousse topped with cream) seemed to belong in my shopping trolley...

Oh, I like gardening, and that doesn't mean eating plants, or just pulling out weeds, and occasionally some grass. I enjoy watering flowers.
For Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday challenge today (gardening) I added layers of "Trust," "Silence," and "Soft Shale."
just a little of my new stash from three large tins of vintage sewing supplies I acquired last week.
