My husband bought me a wonderful bunch of flowers full of great textures and colours. Too irresistible not to photograph up close.

One of those mesmerising moments in time.

This is a stone water feature found in Toowoomba during a visit. The water spirals down into the depths.

It was quite beautiful.

Starting to find some little hints Fall is coming soon !

for 7DoS: a bridge for Brian ;)

7DOS Week #48: Toys...my daughters favorite "toys" when she was little were art related things, and they still are ;)

Texture Tuesday using Kim Klassen's "Quiet" texture.

for 7DoS: I went into town to explore the sales. It was a grey day, so I thought I might just take a shot of my bags when I got home. Then I walked past this lovely colourful mosaic and it brightened my day ... that and the bargains I bought home ;)

This is a small part of this project: www.wilmavandermeyden.com/community-art-netherlands/

I'm not sure the texture shows up that well, but as a mosaic, I hope it's acceptable

Some of us stay in our favourite places and some of us travel to their favourite places but where is your favourite place? It could be as simple as taking a photo of that favourite spot that we walk to or drive to on a regular basis ~ show us your favourite place!

Male Kangaroo basking in the sun opposite my house. Kangaroos are all around my area in the bush & local streets. You have to be very careful at dusk as they will run across in front of your car, no road sense at all.

For six word story.

Three dolls offered by a student I had almost twenty years ago. He said I should put one under my pillow and it would bring me good dreams.

I don't do portraits really but when we went down to Dana Point this weekend, I caught this great shot of hubby enjoying the peacefulness of the early morning.

We laugh about the recent "trend" for beards because hubby has had a beard since the day he first had a hair pop out of his chin! He's trendy now... LOL

Playing with a new (thank you, Hubby!) detachable lens for my iPhone.

Alas, I didn't quite get it on exactly straight, creating a bit of shadowing on one side, so you get a vertical crop.

After yesterday's hand wringing about not being able to find anything of a "surprising color", what's the first thing I found in Henry's box of Puppy Toys?

Yup. A blue mouse.
