THE 24 HOUR PLAYS: A BENNINGTON ALUMNI TRIBUTE TO NICKY MARTIN was a one-night only benefit, created and produced by a talented cast and crew of Bennington alumni. Most building on campus at Bennington are open 24 hours, and it is not uncommon to find students working late on projects and performance pieces. The 24 Hour Play performances included alumni who have attended the College across decades, coming together to collaborate either for the first time or as they did while on campus-- collaborating with an intensity and creativity familiar to their Bennington experience.
Proceeds from Bennington's 24 Hour Plays helped to establish the Nicky Martin Memorial Scholarship for Performing Arts at Bennington College. Nicky (Joel) Martin, who died in the spring of 2014, was a Tony-nominated and Obie Award-winning theater director and beloved former faculty member at Bennington. Martin was an actor for most of his life and turned to directing when he was in his early 40s. He was at Bennington from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s and inspired a younger generation of directors and actors whom he continued to work with throughout his career at the Huntington Theater Company and the Williamstown Theater Festival. He directed a number of works at The Public Theater, where Bennington's 24 Hour Plays were staged.
Six plays were written, directed, and staged in a 24 hour period. They included: FINDING FORM; THE END OF THE WORLD IS COMING; THE HOLE; LAMB, AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS; SPRING FLUNG; and SAINT JOAN VAN ARK.

Billy Walker is a talented painter who enjoys using bold and bright colors and layering
them into unique designs. Billy started painting at the Center for the Arts at PCL in
October of 2011 and has been creating beautiful works of art since. Painting has been
very important to Billy and he requests to paint just about every day. Billy is fluent in
Sign Language and enjoys being outdoors and swimming.

Bailen and Rotholz live, teach and perform music in New York City. Every year they come to Cape May, N.J. with the New York Chamber Ensemble (of which Bailen is artistic director) to perform in the Cape May Music Festival and have been doing so virtually since the festival’s inception. They have been integral to its success and growth over the last 28 years. Our talented young Presidian, Pia Khurana of Class VI B, from Presidium Indirapuram, has been selected as one of the lead characters for a Webseries named ‘V3’, produced by Children's Film Society of India (CFSI). Pia is an all rounder! She has done modelling for famous brands like Adidas, Nike etc. She has also been a part of serials like Savdhaan India, Gali Gali Sim Sim; and has been the Runner Up in Pantaloons Junior Fashion Icon, 2015. Pia is indeed taking Presidium’s vision, ‘be what you want to be’, forward. Soar higher, Pia!
ASPEN is a handsome, approximately one year old Beagle mix who’s very social and sweet. He’s very attentive and responsive, so will be a great dog to train (he already knows “sit”). Though he can be a little anxious in new situations, his love of hotdogs should help with settling and bonding :-)
He does well with other dogs.
Aspen is looking for a kind, low-key home where he can continue to build his confidence.

i have to say that am so happy that i was asked to shoot all the coasters samples for her (47 different designs!!) and i dont think i did a great job! hope she like my work!!
The districtwide Gifted and Talented Science Fair featured everything from how the tastiest cookies rise to how noses work to how Star Wars droid BB-8 manages to roll around and keep his head balanced. Students from kindergarten through 5th grade presented their projects to judges without any help from parents. First, second and third prizes were awarded in each age group, and students from almost every elementary school participated.

I went to the Apple WWDC party tonight and the special guest band, much to my surprise, was Cake. I nearly died of happiness. Cake is one of my favourite bands. They were fantastic, and it's always nice to have studio lighting you don't have to work for. :)

The Lincoln Knights Trail is made up of 36 sculptures across Lincoln city centre - to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the sealing of the Charter of the Forest.
Professor David Carpenter stated that “The Battle of Lincoln, one of the most decisive in English history, meant that England would be ruled by the Angevin, not the Capetian dynasty.” —
Each sculpture has been sponsored by a local business and painted by a talented artist, with a hidden symbol on each. If people found each symbol and completed the quest they received a certificate and badge, plus discount off an exclusive Battle of Lincoln children's book.
After the trail, the sculptures were sold at auction in Lincoln Cathedral to raise money for The Nomad Trust. This local charity which serves the homeless community of Lincoln and provides emergency accommodation for those who would otherwise be sleeping on the streets.

Talented theatre students bring to life this popular masterpiece, under the direction of Wayne E. Robinson Jr., April 7 through April 17 at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center’s Black Box Theater. Shows will run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Ticket prices are $15 for general admission; $12 for seniors and FIU faculty/staff; and $10 for FIU students and members of the FIU Alumni Association. Tickets can be purchased online.
A prodigiously talented young chef, Debbie completed her L3 Professional Cookery Qualification at Yorkshire Coast College, and is now working as a chef and cake maker in Yorkshire. She rose to prominence in the recent BBC series ‘Further Back in Time for Dinner’ where she performed the role of the hard working housemaid for the Robshaw Family through the decades.

Young talented students from prestigious universities and top business schools met at the ESCP Europe's London Campus on 22nd & 23rd February to participate in the 2019 School’s Energy Trading Challenge.
Jointly organised by our MSc in Energy Management (MEM) students, in collaboration with Smart Global, ESCP Europe, and its Research Centre for Energy Management (RCEM), this year’s challenge sponsored by Glencore - one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 90 commodities, with 90 offices in over 50 countries- provided an excellent platform for students to learn key insights on trading oil and gas products.
London Campus Dean Prof. Dr Simon Mercado, Prof. Dr Kostas Andriosopoulos, Executive Director of the RCEM and Academic Director of ESCP Europe's Energy Management Programmes, and Luke Horswell, Director of Smart Global delivered the welcomed 205 attendees representing 23 universities at this truly international competition.

After graduating a year later, the life of a child-tanker is one of sex and danger, these guys often get in excess of three valentines cards a year and can often be found behind the bike shed...

In less than four years, the site that became Discovery Green was transformed from an undeveloped, concrete eyesore into a beautiful and vibrant destination adjacent to the George R. Brown Convention Center. Discovery Green exemplifies a successful public-private partnership between the City of Houston, the Houston First Corporation and Discovery Green Conservancy, the nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that operates and maintains the park. The Conservancy produces hundreds of free events each year and receives no direct city funding.
Young talented students from prestigious universities and top business schools met at the ESCP Europe's London Campus on 22nd & 23rd February to participate in the 2019 School’s Energy Trading Challenge.
Jointly organised by our MSc in Energy Management (MEM) students, in collaboration with Smart Global, ESCP Europe, and its Research Centre for Energy Management (RCEM), this year’s challenge sponsored by Glencore - one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 90 commodities, with 90 offices in over 50 countries- provided an excellent platform for students to learn key insights on trading oil and gas products.
London Campus Dean Prof. Dr Simon Mercado, Prof. Dr Kostas Andriosopoulos, Executive Director of the RCEM and Academic Director of ESCP Europe's Energy Management Programmes, and Luke Horswell, Director of Smart Global delivered the welcomed 205 attendees representing 23 universities at this truly international competition.
