Talented Gnaoua musicians and singers in Khamlia a village in eastern Morocco on the edge of the Sahara desert. These musical families start to train their youngsters to play traditional instruments when they are very young. The little boy in the picture had been performing with this group for a year, he was only allowed to perform the easier numbers and routines.
This greater flamingo appears to be a highly talented dancer. Here his attitude reminds me of the Pasodoble dance. What a guy!

Procida is the smallest island of the Gulf of Naples; it is rich in attractions and archaeology. From the ground floor of Napoli Centro train station, you can take the metro to station Pozzuoli then get off and take the ferry at the port of Pozzuoli. The architecture of Procida has a Greek origin. In fact, the history of Procida is concentrated first of all on the medieval village “Terra Murata” and on “Corricella”, the fishing settlement. The island has served as the set for numerous films, such as The “Postman”, and some scenes in “The Talented Mr. Ripley” were shot on Corricella. A fishing village, a maze of pastel-colored houses in the amphitheater by the sea, stairs, alleys and fish restaurants. The landmarks of Procida reflect typical Mediterranean pastel colours. Procida offers simply cooking and at least 10 excellent restaurants with plain cooking based on fresh fish. This simple style never fails, thanks to the 20 local fishing boats. The specialties of the cooking are: stewed rabbit (which goes back to the Borbonen who came on Procida to hunt the wild rabbit) and spaghetti with sea-urchin. Procida has 6 beaches with crystal-clear waters. Spent some relaxing days on this wonderful island. Experience the real Italy, lovely people, great views, great sand and great food.
A working fishing village Corricella with a restaurant dock area. The view of the castle from down here is amazing. This harbour and the view of it from the opposite side of Procida, must be one of the most beautiful places in Italy - an iconic landmark. One gorgeous port that looks like time has stood still which only adds to it's charm and if you can make you way up to the old prison by quite a few steps you'll be rewarded with views to die for.

When I picked Della to do 52 weeks for dogs this year it never crossed my mind that Tug wouldn’t be here to make an appearance in some of her weekly photos. I just figured at her age I should try and take as many photos of her as possible. I thought Tug would have a turn again next year. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and you have to learn how to live it it.
How fortunate am I to have a talented friend who wanted to do a portrait of Tug for me. I gave her several photos of him and here is what she came up with. I'd say she nailed it. I think Della even thinks so.
Another talented singer who died tragically young. Time will not allow me to give an entire backstory about him. I am thankful that I remember him while he was still alive. my parents were fans of his music, and I'm a fan to this day. He spent most of his career with Motor Town (now Motown) Records before transitioning to CBS (now Sony) Records. Sadly, for people my age, Sexual Healing was his last hit on the airwaves, whereas his prior jams such as "Heard It Through The Grapevine", "I'll Be Doggone", "What's Going On?" just to name a few, literally, were but a sample of what defined him as a musician. Sadly, on April 1, 1984, one day before his 45th birthday, he was shot by his father during an altercation.
Marvin Gaye would be 82 years old if he were alive today. Still one of the greats to this day.
Here I am "directing" again as I call for a second "take" on a previous post. . .I had two versions of this image, and posted the one with a border. . .But after considering a comment from one of the many talented photographers here on Flickr, I had second thoughts about which version was the most interesting. . .So here's my "Take 2" on this shot of one of the planes in the "Tora! Tora! Tora!" presentation at the McConnell AFB Air Show in Wichita on September 9, 2018. . .I do like this version better!

Ruben’s House in Anwerp
Peter Paul Rubens, the famous painter of 16th-17th century, was …Belgian!! A Flemish Belgian, belonging to the Belgian Baroque tradition in painting! His unique and immensely popular Baroque style emphasized movement, colour, and sensuality, which followed the immediate, dramatic artistic style promoted in the Counter-Reformation. In his times he was a Dutch from the Southern Netherlands, living in Antwerp ! Rubens was a painter producing altarpieces, portraits, landscapes, and history paintings of mythological and allegorical subjects. He was also a prolific designer of cartoons for the Flemish tapestry workshops and of front pieces for the publishers in Antwerp.
This talented man, was a great Artist in many fields, apart from his painting talent!! He was also a very educated , charismatic scholar and diplomat, and had a great talent in decoration and architecture, which he proved by cooperating with great decorators and architects of his times, in order to create his beautiful palace home in Antwerp/Anvers of our days!! It whispered tales of dreams waiting to unfold, of aspirations that was soaring high like the eagles circling overhead. With her heart filled with boundless trust, she leaned into her partner and surrendered to the present moment.
Every mile of their journey they traversed became a testament to their unwavering bond. The rhythm of the bike beneath them echoed the synchronous beating of their loving hearts. The world outside faded away, replaced by a shared sense of purpose and an unbreakable connection. In this intimate embrace, she was enveloped by an unwavering belief that together, they could conquer any challenge that was lying ahead.
As the endless road continued to unravel before them, she was reminded of the enduring power of trust. It was the cornerstone of their partnership, the foundation upon which their dreams were built. It's finally Halloween! Happy Halloween everyone. I've absolutely adored doing some extra creepy posts this October. With the most amazing stores and talented creators. For my official Halloween post, I'm using the beautiful BAZAR - Johanna's Cottage @Uber. It comes in two texture versions. I've used the grey one for this post but the white will absolutely feature in an upcoming winter wonderland photo. Its super cute, and if you're a plant lover - there is a greenhouse almost as large as the main room. Perfect for those who don't need a huge home at only 55 Li.
I've decorated the pathway with DRD's Spooky Pumpkins. The light from these radiates so beautifully creating that iconic orange glow of Halloween. Finally for the landscaping, I'm using a lovey Autumn textured Little Branch HornBeamTree (v2).

This 1956 Studebaker Hawk hood, came with a 170hp V8 engine. It could be upgraded to 180hp with the 4 barrel addition. The very talented restoration mechanic named Robert, told me of his passion to work on such vehicles. This piece of perfection sat idol for one year in a garage as it went through its beauty treatment.
Considering the Shuswap Car Show was held at an outdoor museum, it seemed appropriate to add a local flavour. So, I combined the rare scoop with the reflection of an old and also restored wooden building.
