This beautiful little "Tibetan Lite" support spindle weights 1.0 ounces (28 grams). The walnut shaft measures about 10 1/2 inches in length and the whorl, which is crafted from canary wood, measures about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Accompanying this spindle, is one of our originally designed support spinning bowls that combines the efficiency of a ceramic surface with the stability of a wide beautiful wooden base. The ceramic insert measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter, and the gorgeous canary wood base is 2 3/4 inches in diameter.

The Supporting People Service Users' artworks will be displayed in five libraries around the Borough until 14 May.
The exhibition will be judged by local artist Peter Stapleton and the public votes, a prize will be given for the overall winner and the winner from each library.
My new support pillows I bought for my trip to the Mayo Clinic. The head of my bed is raised here, but that's very hard to do in a hotel room. I've also been after the knee pillow for some time, since they make my hip oh, so happy.
This shot shows off how the pillows all zip together, so they can't slide apart from one another in the middle of the night.

Captain Rob Kinney was promoted to major March 1 in a ceremony held at the U.S. Army Medical Department Museum at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Major Gen. John Uberti, deputy commanding general support, U.S. Army Installation Management Command, pinned the rank on Kinney and provided remarks at the ceremony. Kinney has served as Uberti's aide since October 2011.
