"Welcome the Wind"

Good days, they are ahead

You can feel it all coming back

It opens up your heart

As the morning makes room for a new start

Welcome the wind

Of golden days setting in

You wake up to feel

The days turn back to spring

Your old ways are in the past

Make room for all you never had

Old ways are in the past

Make peace with what you never had

Just open up your heart

As the morning makes room for a new start

Just wake me up

Just wake me up

A new day is coming

A new light

A new day is coming

A new light

A new day is coming

A new light

A new day is coming

A new light

Paypal is also possible. At the request of the government, two exhibitions were postponed in April and June in order to prevent the spread of new pneumonia virus. I wanted support from the administration of the Japanese government, but the administration will not support it even after 4 months.

Shot with the SJCAM SJ8 Pro actioncam. The EXIF data ist not present in the RAW image. The used Sony IMX377 sensor (the same as in my Nexus 5X) delivers quiet impressive results for a sensor of only 1/2.3" size.

An actioncam has not the best and biggest sensor or high quality optics but the ultrawideangle look that you can get is unbeaten for the weight, price and robustness. As many of them now also support RAW it has become my ultrawideangle lens replacement. In the narrow streets of cities a piece of gold in my pocket.

To my Flickr community friends. In this moment of darkness, I think of you. We will get through this together, with mutual support. A commentor and group administrator, Ron Masters below, reminds me of this quote by Albert Camus “Au milieu de l'hiver, j'ai découvert en moi un invincible été.”, so apt and heart warming. And when spring returns, listen to Félix Leclerc's Hymne au Printemps, www.youtube.com/watch?v=og6-KgMYtdA.

The former spa hotel Fürstenhof is a hotel complex in the southern quarter of the city of Eisenach in Thuringia. The buildings, which have been vacant since the mid-1990s, are in a ruinous condition. According to the ruling of the administrative court in Meiningen at the end of August 2021, the building may be demolished along with the ancillary buildings.

Investigations in 2000 and 2003 concluded that renovation was uneconomical. In 2004, the listed building status for the building complex was revoked - also in view of the structural decay and architectural losses during the GDR era.

To prevent a collapse, the ceiling of the foyer is completely supported with beams.

I do love summer too, almost as much as spring. Here's one I took down by the stream in Newhall Valley Country Park, one of my favourite places to visit with Marnie. There's such friendliness here, both human and dogs, so Marnie likes it there too !

Thanks for having a look my Flickr friends.

All of you who stop by are deeply appreciated. Thank you so very much for all your messages of support in yes, still the most difficult time of my life.

Just - thank you.

I had thought this old cypress stump on Armand Bayou was a nest site but it turns out it is currently just a waterfront diner, as both a male and this female Pileated Woodpecker stopped in for breakfast as I floated nearby.

Paul-Löbe-Haus

While barns used to dominate farm sites throughout the countryside, they had a whole supporting cast of other buildings. Sometimes they were small while other times there were quite large buildings that sheltered hogs, sheep or cattle. Hard to tell what this intriguing building was but I suspect at least at one time it held chickens. On our farm, you could put chickens almost anywhere and they would be happy.

Amazing crowd and supporters came to have fun and support favorites in regional drifting competition.

Wikipedia: The city of Nan's most famous wat is renowned for its cruciform ubosot which was constructed in 1596 and restored during the reign of Phra Chao Anantaworritthidet (Chao Nakhon Nan No.62nd) (1852-1892).

It is the only temple which was built as if it were on the back of two immense snakes (or Nagas). Each of the four entrances is preceded by a small corridor topped by a finely decorated, point-shaped structure (underlining the royal origin of the temple) and is equipped with smoothly carved doors; with Chinese demon guards in the east, flowers in the north and forest life motives in the Lanna style in the west and south.

The wat's interior is impressive. It is also a good example of Thai Lue architecture. The structure of the roof is supported by twelve teak pillars decorated with gold on black and red lacquer and elephants' motives. The ceiling is also finely decorated. The flowered altar resting in the center of the bôt supports four Buddhas of the Sukhothai style in the pose of Bhūmisparsa mudrā

Well preserved murals of great value illustrating the Khattana Kumara Jataka on the Northern wall and the Nimi Jatakas on the Western wall as well as scenes of the local life of the time when they were painted by Thai Lue artists during the restoration of the temple at the end of the 19th century. Europeans can even be noticed: a reference to the arrival of the French to whom the East of the Nan valley area was yielded in 1893. The style is rather distinctive and quite removed from the traditional style of temple paintings in Thailand.
