Recipe:
Ingredients: fresh mushroom picked from local soccer fields. iPad or laptop to make the green light. One darkened room.
Preparation: make neon green background and set as wallpaper on iPad. Setup tripod and remote shutter release.
Cooking: Secure mushroom with an old reading glass case. Sit on top of iPad lying flat. Set low ISO, high aperture & adjust speed according to light/dark taste. Set ipad screen brightness to high.
Optional: For that extra zing, focus bracket & stack.
Enjoy with a glass of nice Pinot Noir.

Support est une sculpture représentant deux mains, provenant des fonds marins, qui soutiennent l’hôtel Ca ‘Sagredo au bord du Grand Canal.
Une volonté de l’artiste de nous faire réagir à l’impact du changement climatique et aux montées des eaux qui peuvent nuire à Venise.

Got close and personal to a very vintage movie projector. It was the first time I've ever seen one of these devices and I loved the look of it! It would be cool to have one of these on display and even luckier if I used it for its purpose. It's a purchase I'll definitely revisit in the future.

The former spa hotel Fürstenhof is a hotel complex in the southern quarter of the city of Eisenach in Thuringia. The buildings, which have been vacant since the mid-1990s, are in a ruinous condition. According to the ruling of the administrative court in Meiningen at the end of August 2021, the building may be demolished along with the ancillary buildings.
Investigations in 2000 and 2003 concluded that renovation was uneconomical. In 2004, the listed building status for the building complex was revoked - also in view of the structural decay and architectural losses during the GDR era.
To prevent a collapse, the ceiling of the foyer is completely supported with beams.

This stump supporting the large pot was an elder tree deposited as a seed forty years ago by a passing bird no doubt. It grew and grew and as we aged together I became weaker and it became stronger, pushing down my fences and scattering dye filled berries everywhere. When my friend who made red wine from the berries and white wine from the flowers passed away and I became less able to control its growth I had it reduced it to a stump. I felt guilty but it did make a good stand for the pot.
This is a view from a pier in the pond. Tairo-ike is surrounded by a thick forest of evergreen broadleaf trees, and the forest and pond are well-known for birdwatching. There is a municipality-run visitor centre called Akakokko-kan (アカコッコ館) near the shore, which provides ecological information about the area and Miyakejima supported by the Wild Bird Society of Japan.
Aka-kokko (Turdus celaenops) is a red-bellied thrush species endemic to Izu Islands. It is a symbol of Miyake-jima. The name means "red bird."

I had great hopes for my very first visit to Anglesey a week or so ago. I had completed my research, asked others for their advice on photographic locations and was quite looking forward to taking some snaps somewhere a bit different from my usual haunts. It was all mapped out... a sunset at that location, a sunrise here, a night shoot there, and so on.
The reality was three days of mostly horizontal driving rain interspersed with fog, wind and sea mist so thick at times I could barely see the hand in front of my face. After relentless bad weather, the clouds finally separated for about two hours on my last morning so I raced across to Penmon on the north east tip of Anglesey.
It was still blowing pretty hard but at least it wasn’t driving rain and I did manage to get the camera out to show it what a lighthouse looks like.

We adopted my dog Molly 5 years ago. We are not 100% sure of her age but believe she is about 10 years old now. While she isn't officially labeled an "Emotional Support Dog" there is no doubt in my mind that she has gotten me through some tough times. She is so loving and loyal and truly is a best friend. I would be lost without her. ❤

In einer doppelten Symbolik schlagen Regierungsbauten und die Gebäude für die demokratisch gewählten Abgeordneten eine Verbindung und symbolische Brücke zwischen Ost und West. Die Demokratie ist Bauherr. Dem 1995 begonnenen Bau geht die größte bis dahin dagewesene weltweite Projektausschreibung für öffentliche Bauten voran: 835 Architekten bewerben sich um die Aufträge. Es geht darum Deutschlands neue Regierungszentrale wie auch die Büros für die Abgeordneten des Parlaments zu entwerfen.
Den Zuschlag für die Neugestaltung des Spreebogens erhalten die Architekten Axel Schultes und Charlotte Frank. Paul-Löbe-Haus und Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus konzipiert der Architekt Stefan Braunfels. Verworfen werden die ursprünglich geplante Platzanlage Bürgerforum mit Cafés und Geschäften und zunächst die Verlängerung in Richtung Bahnhof Friedrichstraße. (...) Das Paul-Löbe-Haus ist benannt nach dem Reichstagspräsidenten und Alterspräsidenten des ersten Deutschen Bundestags. Today is a green day at Color my World Daily and we are even closer to the blue day (and yes, I already have a blue picture) which is my favourite day of the week : Friday. I don’t know if my picture will be accepted for today’s theme since there is some major orange action going on. i have a green background so lets keep our fingers crossed. Lots of people ask me (I’m lying, no one asked me this ...) : and if it isn’t accepted, then what ? And my answer is : Nothing !! We will still celebrate the green color and this fake mandarin - egg. Have a great one my friends !! And remember: sometimes, the mandarins are not what they seem… (any Twin Peaks fans out there ??).

While barns used to dominate farm sites throughout the countryside, they had a whole supporting cast of other buildings. Sometimes they were small while other times there were quite large buildings that sheltered hogs, sheep or cattle. Hard to tell what this intriguing building was but I suspect at least at one time it held chickens. On our farm, you could put chickens almost anywhere and they would be happy.
