A throwback to the Singapore of the early 20th century. I shot this on either Amoy St or Telok Ayer St in Chinatown. Shot this with a 45mm ts-e. Shot wide open with full tilt.
Adam in the Disney Store. He was on a scavenger hunt from Chick-Fil-A. He had to read a clue and figure-out where to go in the Mall. Then he had to gointo that store and moo like a cow to get a clue from them so that he could continue.

Bon Marché department store on rue de Sèvres as rebuilt in a simplified form after the original, designed by Louis-Auguste Boileau with Gustave Eiffel's spectacular cast iron and glass interior, was destroyed by fire in 1915. The replacement building had a more conventional interior and although externally similar the elaborate entrance on rue de Sèvres and the dome above were both lost. For fifty years up to 1920 this was the pre-eminent Parisian store but the balance of power shifted north to the Grands Boulevards.

Men’s fine clothing merchant
Ric Lahti, owner
Formerly Miles Clothing Store, Ric Lahti purchased and renamed the store, opening on March 29, 1941. The dapper Lahti embodied the store’s motto, “First with the latest.” He sold the business in 1966. It changed hands again in 1972 before officially closing in 1975. Today the building houses the Mexican restaurant Taxco II.
