These are not pet store fish. There is a Koi dealer in Davidsonville, Md. who sells fish to big clients like hotels, fancy restaurants and owners of McMansions. His showroom is essentially an island surrounded by ponds of various sizes with little bridges that allow shoppers to view his stock.
The fish generally associate the sound of footsteps on the wooden walkways with food. That sends them into a feeding frenzy that brings them tothe surface. Each of these are eight to 14 inches long. They are also valued at hundreds of dollars apiece.

While shopping with my wife in a Sydney metro suburb we don't normally frequent, we came across the 'Onesie Land' store. I jokingly said to her that she should pick one out for me. With an evil looking grin she said that each time I misbehaved, she'd make me wear it! I quickly pulled her away from the entrance door:-)
This store, about 10 minutes down the road from my house, hasn't been in operation for quite sometime. I remember when it was a busy place though.
