The grocery store where we shop has a beautiful, raised atrium roof which lets a lot of natural light into the store, making the shopping experience more pleasant.

The other day I realized it would make for an interesting photograph, so I took a couple of minutes to take a few shots with my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The blue sky and white clouds can be seen through glass windows on the periphery of the 14-segmented roof structure.

It is located in the center of the store and is probably 40 feet above one's head.

The Orum Store was built in 1885 and went back and forth among a few owners and in various locations over several years. It finally was operated by the Hansen family along with a plumbing and construction business until Mr. Hansen's death. Mrs. Hansen continued to run the store until sometime in the 1980s. Some sources say it then became a residence, but there's no sign of life today.

Although the good old fashioned general store is fast disappearing from many small country towns, I believe this one is still going strong. This is the Georgetown General store which dates back to 1912, and is in South Australia's mid north in a rich farming area. It is a small town with a population of less than 200, but services a large rural area. It is one of those wonderful old stores that you could get everything and anything in and serves as the town's post office.

Well this rather quirky fisherman's store is actually an upturned boat, with this shot I wanted to show what it was used for with all the bit`s a fisherman might want to use or not, spot the cat. I took this on. a very early morning walk. PS I read somewhere that Passiona had actually been discontinued but can't seem to verify this.
