Changing times. This general store in the tiny hamlet of Ashton has been in business since 1841 or 1851. The sign outside says 1851, but one source has it as 1841 with the post office being added in 1851. The store sells food supplies and knick knacks, lends books, is a coffee shop and meeting place as well as a post office. There will be no store as of tomorrow.

I have not deboxed the early 2012 mini doll sets (both US and UK versions), nor the 2012 UK 10'' Flutter Wing Tinker Bell. Also not included is the Disney Parks Littler Tinker Bell 15'' toddler doll. Also not included are Disney Fairies besides Tink. I have many Tinker Bell plush, figurines, ornaments and other merchandise which I will show in future group photos. Coming soon to the US is the 2014 Tinker Bell Flutter Wing doll, redesigned to promote The Pirate Fairy movie.

N Arnison and Sons Ltd, (established in 1742) - a family run clothing retailer based in Penrith, Cumbria
A number of Class 125 DMU vehicles in March yard on 22 June 1978. These had been withdrawn from Finsbury Park (FP) depot a few months earlier, presumably following the electrification of the suburban lines out of Kings Cross, and the introduction of new Class 313 emus. The vehicles pictured were scrapped at Doncaster Works, Booths (Rotherham) or Birds (Long Marston). I think some of these vehicles were at March for a few years, as I saw a report that 5 of the driving trailers present (51001/51004/51006/51163/51169/51173) were in Doncaster Works awaiting scrapping in March 1981.
A full list of the other stock present was: 50991/50994/50995/51155/51160, 59449/59454/59457/59458/59459/59461/59463/59465/59467/59468
59468 is nearest the camera in my photo. This had been new, from Derby Works in September 1959 and was withdrawn (from FP) in January 1977. 59468 was scrapped at Booths.
DMUs stored at MR - 22 June 1978
All the Bluebird railcars were withdrawn at rhe end of 1990 after country rail services were withdrawn at the end of 1990.
These trees cars, 251,252,258 lasted about another year running special pokies train trips to Broken Hill and return before being stored at Mile End and then Dry Creek North as seen on 21-1-1995.
251 and 252 would see service on the wine train from 1998 until 2003 then be converted into Crew vans for Aurizon in 2023 while 258 would be rebuilt into SCT crew van PDAY3 in 2005

A wonderful night at the Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip. Always gonna love these neon caricatures and, yes, I do recognize all of them!
This man's curiosity is directed toward a record store give-away box on the snowy sidewalk where he was digging for treasure. His dog's curiosity, however, is directed toward me as I pass by on my way to Bulk Barn.
Out of the woods. I do occasionally get out of the woods. This adventure was for a gallery opening in Easton, PA.
A cigar store Indian on display at the Mercer Museum. Carved wooden Indians were the most popular tobacco store signs for three centuries.

DFZ2403 is one of seven former Queensland Railways 2300 class locomotives, transferred to Western Australia between 2007 and 2011. In 2026 the majority of them are stored out of service.
AB1504 is a former Western Australia Government Railways/Westrail locomotive. Six of these locomotives were introduced in 1970. AB1504 has also been stored at Forrestfield for a period.
On the 3rd of June 2026 these locomotives along with two others, were removed by road transport and sent for scrapping.
The major rail operators in Australia have a policy of exporting or scrapping surplus locomotives in order to prevent smaller domestic "competitiors" from obtaining them.
