K210 and D48 sit stored at Midland on 6-1-13. Both locos had not been used for some time and in 18 months they would be scrapped there
DFZ2403 is one of seven former Queensland Railways 2300 class locomotives, transferred to Western Australia between 2007 and 2011. In 2026 the majority of them are stored out of service.
AB1504 is a former Western Australia Government Railways/Westrail locomotive. Six of these locomotives were introduced in 1970. AB1504 has also been stored at Forrestfield for a period.
On the 3rd of June 2026 these locomotives along with two others, were removed by road transport and sent for scrapping.
The major rail operators in Australia have a policy of exporting or scrapping surplus locomotives in order to prevent smaller domestic "competitiors" from obtaining them.

Great design of a tech store. There's nice consistency in the colors and tones used in the design. The slightly contrasting colors give it an interesting appeal. The light fixtures used provide enough lighting for the store but also keep it dim enough to give a calming atmosphere. A used record store popular among the local hipsters. The second floor includes a lounge area where shoppers can play discs on the turn table and help themselves to some free coffee. Don't ask me how they stay in business.
I intended to make the dome run all the way back but didn't have any more of those pieces (and didn't want to make another bricklink order). The back walls of the interiors could perhaps use some album cover stickers or something...

Climax locomotive no. 1694 crosses the Monbulk Creek trestle bridge early one morning in April, bound for Belgrave.
As space at Belgrave is at a premium, the least used locomotives are stored elsewhere along the railway. Some, like 1694, are stored at Emerald, while others reside at Menzies Creek. 1694 would later that day haul a special train from Belgrave to Emerald.
Originally Tallassee was a Cherokee settlement prior Chilhowee dam putting it under water. In 1928 a handful of investors tried to create a mountain resort town by the same name 7 miles downstream from the original. It failed terribly and the general store is all thats left.
