A marriage of state is a diplomatic marriage or union between two members of different nation-states or internally, between two power blocs, usually in authoritarian societies and is a practice which dates back to ancient times, as far back as early Grecian cultures in western society, and of similar antiquity in other civilizations. A Marriage of State often involved surrendering a female member of a ruling line to gain peace or shore up alliances of state between nation-states headed by small oligarchies or acknowledged royalty. -- Courtesy Wikipedia

We found real beauty of Fall in the Ferdinand State Forest. It was mid-morning and very quiet. We found a bench near the lake and enjoyed the serenity and seeing two eagles soar over the lake and land in a tree on the opposite side.

Took quite a few shots of this lovely old flatbed truck this being one of my favourites.

Lomonosov Moscow State University (from 1755 to 1917 — Imperial Moscow University) is one of the oldest and largest classical universities in Russia, one of the centers of Russian science and culture, located in Moscow. Since 1940 it has been named after Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov.

One of the larger State Parks in Maryland, it is long and slender reaching across a good portion of the area east of Baltimore, City. Late Fall in this photo, showing some remaining color and soon what winter will be looking like ... until snow falls.

Entrance to the State Library Victoria, on Swanston Street, Melbourne. I love the combination of the stately building with the patterned tiles in the entrance way.

I started, as usual, with the chassis. The front now has a drive, the engine is moved to the interior. With the wheels from the Mustang, it was possible to make a front-wheel drive with a very small running-in shoulder.

In the sunroof at the back, you can put a figure, a handle for rotating the platform with an arrow is thought out. As for the "machine gun", this design is not completely mine, I just modified the original LEGO rubber band and added details.

Thresholds were made, a blade against zombies, a spare tire, Windows closed with plates and bars. The doors on the right are "welded", on the left everything opens.

The interior is almost unchanged, only the Central tunnel has changed (due to the change of the steering wheel and the transfer of the engine to the interior)

We took the land yatch up to Red Bluff for a long weekend of camping...ventured into town twice - once in the daytime and once at night to catch any neon's that might be lit up...sadly, only one...but it still was a fantastic escape from the normal...

America's Most Historic Prison

Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, was once the most famous and expensive prison in the world, but stands today in ruin, a haunting world of crumbling cellblocks and empty guard towers. Its vaulted, sky-lit cells held nearly 85,000 people over its long history, including bank robber "Slick Willie" Sutton and "Scarface" Al Capone.
