So, jetzt habe ich auch mal Obst ins Wasserglas fallen gelassen. Was soll man sonst machen?
So, now I have also dropped some fruit into the water glass. What else can you do?
Splash do splash....
Gostei de brincar com elas, pois cada disparo tem uma forma diferente....cada uma mais interessante que a outra...

Going through my photos from years ago, cataloguing and tagging them, I found this one that in retrospect seems a bit whimsical...

When all else is silent and calm, you can always hear when a pelican takes to the air, and swing the camera round for a shot!
Pinkish splash across the sky above Northshore Cove.

This welcome swallow was one of many that were doing what I assume was a little feeding routine for bugs on the surface of our village pond. Or maybe it is a bathing dunk in the water? Since moving here nearly 7 years ago, I have been trying to catch that moment of the exact touch on the water, but after what must be many thousands of attempts, I have not yet succeeded. I did actually manage to get the touchdown earlier on this particular day, but it was horribly out of focus. So, this is the best attempt so far. I shall keep trying! I admittedly had a much too long lens on and not the latest tracking focus system in the camera body as I was mainly aiming for perched birds. One day.....I'll get all the ducks in a row - so to speak! ; )

Anita and I managed an afternoon off exploring on Monday despite the gas issues. (which are easing off just a bit) We rediscovered one of our favorite gravel roads but were going down it in a reverse order than from before and that is how we saw this fantastic pool in the Tye river. Across the road from the River is a church and I think our attention before was the church and a group of bicyclists so we completely missed this lovely section. Anita of course clambered right down to the edge of this beautiful pool and began tossing rocks. She makes a splash wherever she goes! LOL Have a blessed day everyone! :)
What was usually a creek had turned into a small river due to the heavy overnight rain fall.
Still the special stage went ahead providing an interesting challenge for the participants - and some interesting photo opportunities too... :-)
While smaller cars struggled, the WRC cars all mastered it without issue. Here a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 6 takes its turn.

Another shot from my session at Marsalforn Bay, Gozo, Malta. Very high winds created the high waves. I was facing north so had the sun fully on the picture.
See www.flickr.com/photos/87039642@N00/7092917953/ for another shot from this wave
Por incrivel que pareça esa foto tava pior ainda..

K.Marinović - Splashing Meets Color
Hi #friends, here is a re-edit of my photo "Splashing"! The photo definitely looks much better in color, the atmosphere is more intense and you can just feel the summer in it.
Have a lovely night!

Another popular waterfall in Oregon that need no further introduction. Awesome weekend with Lance, Aaron, Justin and Rami in the gorge checking out famous tourist spots. Happy Sunday! :D

Happy first day of Spring! 💐Happy Vernal Equinox! Happy Aries season! And also, my water bill is due today. 😬
I’m reposting this image and my original caption because it seems appropriate (again, unfortunately) after more tragic, hateful losses in the USA this past week. Springtime calls for great change — bringing light to what was once shadowed; beckoning the cold, bare terrain to grow once again. Over the course of our existence, opportunities for learning and growing seem to always cycle through — so long as we have the courage to feel the discomfort of the growing pains. I truly believe we humans can do better (I mean, I know I am far from perfect), and there is always room for us to grow with the seasons...

We live in a colorful world, filled with a wide assortment of pigmentation. From the flowers to the sky, the humans to the skyscrapers — every facet of life is painted with a variety of colors. 🎨 Maybe this is by mistake. Maybe it’s on purpose. ♀️ Either way, this fact is to our good fortune, because to exist in a monotonous world — a world lacking in diversity — sure wouldn’t be as beautiful or interesting... 🤔💭💐
